This thread deals with all issues concerning the icons used for namespaces and their buttons, including proposals for icons for new namespaces and bugs with existing icons.
When submitting an icon, the icon images should be exactly 16x16 png with a transparent background. A gif can also be used, but png is usually better. Also, the naming convention is important. It should be the namespace in lowercase.
I am compiling a list of namespaces that need icons, and icons for those name spaces. This would be preferred to be done quickly because I've convinced Eddie to hook them up when I get them complied. I will be editing the OP as we go.

tbh as far as I'm concerned that's literally a geometrical cylinder. I view platforms as flat and either on small support beams or floating with jet propeller.

How about a laptop for Platform/? A lot of the pages there are websites, and while Platform/ also encapsulates things like game consoles and programs, I think a computer covers the idea behind it all quite well.

Not all Platforms are websites or even computer-based technology. They can be locations, like film festivals. That's why I suggest a Visual Pun instead.

I liked the suggestion for ReferencedBy/ being Shout-Out/'s but facing the opposite direction. I also support it being red. Anyone else in agreement?

Shout-Out's icon is a megaphone, because the Shout-Out goes outward. As Referenced by... receives the Shout-Out, it would make sense to use a sound receiver like an ear or an ear trumpet.

The ear trumpet might be a bit harder to draw but I found an icon of it online

Here's my Ear Trumpet icon for ReferencedBy/, but this time red and facing the left (opposite direction of the current ShoutOut/ icon)
I kinda like it myself. What are your guys thoughts? And do you prefer it over the red reversed megaphone proposal for ReferencedBy?

Since Animation/ is a catch-all namespace for those outside of Anime/ and Western Animation/, I think we'd need an icon that illustrates the "concept" of animation.
Maybe a pencil with legs? ✏️ 🦵 ("Drawings that move" is the jist of what we think of animation after all)
