Guys, it's getting worse.
This season, the unthinkable will happen.
("They're canceling the show?")
...
...Okay, the second-most unthinkable will happen.
Yeah right! It's probably going to be a one-episode deal. Remember when they said that would kill off a character and it turned out to be Krusty's father? Calling it now, it's just a ratings stunt.
Haven't Homer and Marge already divorced in one episode?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I believe it was the one where Milhouse's parents divorced, all the way back in season 8...
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Not quite, though. Homer filed a divorce without Marge knowing because he thought she didn't love him anymore. Marge was surprised to find that he divorced her at their second wedding.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I dunno, man, I kinda thought it was a bummer for Krusty. I mean, hasn't anyone felt like Krusty as he was in that episode at any point in their lives?
So they're ending DVD sales because of piracy, so that now the only new DVDs will have to be pirates!
Source?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. One of the videos in the link in post 27 talks about ending DVD sales.

This news first came out in April. I am not pleased. I prefer to own my favorite shows and that little gap in my collection between seasons 17 and 20 is really going to bug me.
I do think it's stupid to end the DVD boxed sets because DVD's still sell even with Blu-Ray existing. It's not like how VHS was back in the 2000s where it wasn't really selling.
That said, we haven't really gotten any boxed set past Season 11 (we don't even have Season 20) in my household, so it's not likely that we'll purchase Seasons 12-17 and 20.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I had this thought recently about the episode "Lisa's First Word." Just how bad is the economy of Springfield that 1980's Springfield looks like 1930's Brooklyn?
I like to keep my audience riveted.A lot of working class urban neighborhoods still have that general look if the buildings are that old.
I know it's from 10 days ago, but even though it will only happen in the upcoming 2015 "Treehouse of Horror" episode, Sideshow Bob will finally get his Moment of Awesome by doing the one thing he's always wanted to do after 25 years: kill Bart Simpson. Just imagine how awesome it will be when the episode airs.

I guess you could say that the producers moved him.... INTO A BIGGER HOUSE!
Honestly it would have been better the other way. Unless they're gunning for 30 seasons, now's the time to stand down.
60 seasons and another movie!
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I had a feeling that Harry would return, although I didn't expect the announcement until around mid-August.

Eerie. This is now dark foreshadowing on two levels.

So, hearing that The Rugrats episode "Vacation" features Siegfried and Roy look-alikes getting attacked by their white tiger makes me think of that one moment in "$pringfield (Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)" that features the exact same thing.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Remember what I said a few months ago, about Sideshow Bob getting the chance to kill Bart Simpson? Well, here's an update: After killing Bart, Bob will revive him, Frankenstein-style, only to kill him repeatedly, over and over again! Somehow, this is kind of reminiscent of the Emperor Joker comic book and its Batman: The Brave and the Bold adaptation, in which The Joker does the same thing to Batman! I have a feeling that it may have been done before.

At last, a case where it can't be said Simpsons Did It Before!

Not so! Has anyone ever parodied that scene before?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
x10: "Doesn't Harry Shearer portray, like, more or less the entire male supporting cast on the show?" I'd say roughly a third of the adult male characters.
