Post about how happy you are and the good things going in your life.

    Original post
After going over a week wondering if Poison and I were still a couple and if he was safe, he contacted me last night. After that I had a talk with my father and sort of told him about the plans Poison and I have, but stressed that we're not going to do it until we're at least in our mid twenties, and he was very happy.

Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.

And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

Today and yesterday have been nice.

No parents complaining about other family members. No yelling about how the world has gone to shit.

Just... Nice. I'm actually happy instead of being my usual indifferent, apathetio self. I almost didn't think that was possible anymore.

I have my mom's homemade pumpkin pie that she gave me to take home after Thanksgiving. It is the best pumpkin pie in the world, partly because it's the only one I can eat given my milk intolerance. Sooooooo yummy!

I went down to the kitchen, and there's a fudge cake sitting on the dining table.

Like... it's open. For eating.

It's one kilogramme. Of rich, chocolate-y, fudge cake.

Today is awesome.

I love this thread grin There's so many good things happening to me right now:

We had such a good rehearsal after school today it was ridiculous. I managed to hit a concert Bb6 (I play trumpet) and held it quietly for a long time and did it quietly and I didn't make any mistakes when we played through my hardest songs!

And I've managed to expand my singing range so now I can sing more than 3 and a half octaves (A3 to E6).

Today was Tea Tuesday in English class, which meant that I brought hot chocolate and had 4 packets in one cup. It was awesome.

Leadership camp forms are out, so I've started getting excited about that already.

I got 96.6% on the genetics test in biology, which should bring my average up to at last 92%.

Tonight I get to watch The Sing Off finale!

I had scalloped potatoes for supper today and I really liked them, among [[Understatement a lot]] of other smaller things.

Oh, and one of the guys I'm interested in might come to see my school's musical, which means I'll have a chance to talk to him. Another one of the guys is in the chorus, which has finally joined the main practices, so I get to hang with him a bit more.

... Also, I had 4 bags of popcorn today which were shared with everyone at rehearsal and it was a pretty awesome shared afternoon snack.

I think we had a thread like this before but, it died.

Pretty sure this is the third or fourth thread of its type, yeah. Maybe this one will last.

I think my body understands that I need to make the most of my strike day off; I woke up at 10am (i.e. 45 mins ago).

I'm happy because I now have a day to finish off my homework, and just chill.

If that happens, happy ending for everyone.

Reasons to be happy? Let's see...

IRL:

  • Exams are going well so far - seeing all the extra effort I've made, especially this quarter, going somewhere for once is unspeakably satisfying.
  • Great relations with most people at the moment.
  • More time for reading lately, and the fact that the school library is quite laid-back regarding time limits helps.
  • Also finally able to stop putting off chores.
  • The crude bird mask I made for Halloween is still wearable! Just as ugly though...
  • Got a pair of secondhand earphones - not quite perfect for laptops, but reasonably comfy and nice to use. d^_^b

Online:

  • Finally got to talk a good amount with two of my closest friends lately... just what I needed the most, considering the circumstances, and in any case I thank everyone for being so supportive.
  • Holidays are approaching, so there's a good chance that the same will eventually happen with the rest of my social circle within the site.
  • Got to play Gretel And Hansel, which was lovely!
  • Found a number of neat wallpapers throughout the past few weeks, and made avatars out of a few of them.

Wishing the most joy for everyone, right now and for all days to come!

First off, I find it awesome and surprising that tendollar is a Sonic fan. waii

Another good thing is that, even though I'm failing my art history class, I can still pass if I get an A on my final. (Seeing as I haven't had even a C on the only other 3 assignments—all tests—in my class, though...)

And there's the usual best friend and video game stuff. Nice to be having some contact with him and I'm glad we're friends, and I'm eagerly awaiting the chance to buy some awesome stuff on eBay and on Amazon (But if I revealed them, they might be sold off by others reading this post, and I can't have that happening. wink). I also can't wait for the upcoming Layton, Naruto and Persona games.

Just got my results for this term's Ancient History results back.

100%.

That's 100% on a HSC level assignment. Only one other person got that much, one of my mates, as it were (one person I wouldn't mind losing to, as well). That means I am definitively ahead of almost everyone else.

I can't begin to stress how good this makes me feel. It's stupid, I know, but I really needed this.

Feels good, man/girl/both/neither.
