Kamen Rider: General Thread

I've got like 11 Heiseis to get through yet.

Oh sure, that's for Kamen Rider. But what about the OTHER Showa toku shows? Like the Ultraman series, or Ishinomori's other heroes? (Kikaider, Inazuman, Henshin Ninja Arashi, Zubat, etc.)

I just found the first episode for Ultra Q on youtube yesterday. It was cool.

Super Sentai, GARO, yeaaaah. Hella lot stuff to watch.

Would highly recommend GARO. First toku I ever watched that wasn't Power Rangers.

I've got DV Ds of all GARO episodes. Worth it.

Say, wouldn't a Kamen Rider Kiva x GARO story sound good?

After watching Godspeed Love and some Wizard, "Maximum. Rider. Power." and "Flame: Dragon. Burn, burn, BURNBURNBURN" join the ranks of my favourite belt calls. So awesome @.@

That's hilarious and adorable

Im new to the Kamen Rider universe but I've been doing some research and I am throughly enjoying Kamen Rider Spirits,its really awesome, well written, and beautifully drawn. It also gives new fans a good starting point without leaving you feeling like,"What the heck is going on here?!"

I must say though that my favorite Rider is Amazon.

Remember; the events of Kamen Rider Spirits is basically a What If? version of Kamen Rider ZX as a TV series instead of a oneshot TV special. So sadly that's not canon, according to Toei. But of course, we can always reject their reality and substitute your own. XD

Speaking of that manga, I've read the all six (as of now) manga of Shin Kamen Rider Spirits. Unfortunately, the translation is in Chinese/Mandarin, so I've no clue what they're saying. And I also have all 16 volumes of the original Kamen Rider Spirits. You are SOOOO gonna love what's happening to Amazon in book 16 and Shin Kamen Rider Spirits book 2 :D

Just caught Episode 34.

I don't know if Sora is for real (as a Gremlin, he'd be a Trickster by nature anyway, so maybe he just lucked out in having a Gate with similar traits. That doesn't explain his saving Chiaki though), but it seems like if it was a trick, he's going to a lot of trouble. Him being the source of the Wind Dragon stone is interesting as well.

I am meanwhile on 21 and find White Wizard's driver declaring "<Spell>, Now" be quite telling.

Well, caught up... And Infinity Style so far No Sells everything. That's kinda over the top.

Hell, they even got only one fight from All Dragon style.

Yeah. They made a big deal out of All dragon, but it's only been used twice(the movie with Fourze, where it was all red, and the fight against Phoenix). And now he doesn't need it since Infinity is better.

Caught the latest ep.

No kidding. He should be bending over backwards to earn her forgiveness, and the first thing he could do is stay the fuck out of her way.

I'm convinced that Rinko would have realized the truth on her own if that Jack-ass hadn't gotten in her way in the first place, thereby putting her job on the line and making her more desperate to catch the guy without realizing he was a gate. She's only acting the way she is because that twit is actively hindering her efforts.

Seriously Rinko, you can arrest him for getting in the way of a police officer. It's okay.

Honestly I think they were both in the wrong.

How?

She does have every right to be mad at him! Yes, she's wrong about the suspect, but if Shunpei had not got in the way, she might have figured out the truth on her own. The only reason she's so adamant about him being the suspect is that the idiot who put her job on the line is continuing to get in her way, and pissing her off.

I'd be inclined to ignore someone I was angry at as well, even if they were right. I can understand why she's doing what she is doing, even if it's a little wrong.

Beside, Shunpei is the annoying comic relief, so most people will be against him on principle, and he's not helping his case in this situation.

I think Rinko was wrong for taking her anger out on him the first time when he didn't mean to put her career at risk and made it clear he was sorry. On the other hand Shunpei was even more wrong for interfering afterwards.

Yeah. That's the problem. He chose the solve the problem by doing the same thing he did before on purpose.

And for what?

Any wrong doing Rinko was guilty of pales in comparsion to his continued screw ups. He should have stayed out of the way, let her calm down, and maybe this could have been avoided.

Latest episode of Wizard.

That gate was kinda annoying. Just let him die and kill off the phantom.

Also, fuck you still Shunpei. All this run around could have been avoided if you didn't get in the way in the first place.

I'm being biased, but I don't care. Fuck you at least until next week.
