I polished it a bit, if you don't mind.
I might consider making a Sandbox for Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story.
Anyone want to have avatar pics of Philippine Airlines Flight 434 added to their gallery?

Today is the 27th anniversary of the safe landing of Philippine Airlines Flight 434, a Boeing 747 passenger flight from Manila to Tokyo with a stopover in Cebu.
The 747 suffered a contained explosion mid-flight due to a bomb planted by the terrorist Ramzi Yousef. The bomb explosion disabled the majority of the flight controls, leaving only the plane's elevators operational, albeit barely.
Japanese passenger Haruki Ikegami was the flight's sole casualty, rest in peace.
Captain Eduardo "Ed" Reyes, First Officer Jaime Herrera, and Flight Engineer Dexter Comendador brought the crippled plane to down to a safe landing on the Japanese island of Minami Daito, in the Okinawa region, saving the rest of the 292 souls on board.
RIP to Captain Eduardo "Ed" Reyes, who passed away in 2007, and to First Officer Jaime Herrera, who passed away in 2021.
This thread has stalled for more than a year, a so much has happened. Also, RIP to the guys of that plane.
After the election and all the bruhaha that happened over the past year right now, the news about Coco Martin confirming their relationship with Julia Montez is everywhere. They dated for 12 years. When he was 30 and she was 16.
All I can say is *cold shudder*

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔for some reason adobo is too sour for my tastes
Either there's too much vinegar or the vinegar is so potent that even a little goes a long tart way.
I just had an adobo from a restaurant from out of town yesterday, and they added a hint of calamansi, but when I tasted it, it tastes sweet. They more likely added a mild vinegar and added muscovado and/or oyster sauce in there to balance the sour.
Also, adobo can be mixed into fried rice; the rice absorbs the flavor; had one for breakfast kanina. Tastes good ngl.

But seriously, it certainly does live up to the hype. Masterful acting from Cedrick Juan.

Ok, since it's been so long since I posted about it, I now have a sandbox page for the typical things you see in classic Filipino action movies. Currently a WIP, of course.
