Whatever Happened to the Ghost Game dub? I heard it was made on the cheap with no union actors and nothing after that.

That dub is more likely for overseas, for Asia most likely. A similar dub was made for Xros Wars a long time ago. Hence why it was cheap. I remember the With the Will podcast talking about when the Ghost Game dub cast call was going around.

It would probably be awhile before we hear anything for a Ghost Game dub. The Adventure: dub came out about a year ago, and 02 the Beginning is coming out on on Blu-ray this year as well.

Is the Adventure dub any good?

I have no idea yet. I bought the entire series. I haven't seen it yet. I did hear good things about it though.

Which one? The original, 02, Tri, Kizuna, 02 movie, or colon/2020?

The digimon dubs were less censored than the other dubs during that time.

Just to clarify, I haven't seen the dub for the reboot yet, which is what I thought the question was about. I did see the dub of the original Adventure.

Compared to other hack dubs during that era, the adventure dub of 1999 was less censored.

I already know that. I wasn't the one who asked if the Adventure dub was good. I was just stating that I thought the question was about the reboot's dub.

I hope the Ghost Game dub is announced. I know its not a dub for Asia.

I'd like to see them give the humans become Digimon gimmick another try.

It would definitely be cool to see them try it in a modern setting, especially since (at least from what I’ve heard), Digimon Frontier isn’t nearly as hated as it used to be.

I think Frontier has a lot of nostalgia going for it and it is loved now.

It helps that Frontier was the logical endpoint of what they'd done in the previous three series.

First Humans empower digimon to evolve.

Then Digimon start fusing with each other.

Then they start fusing with their human Partners.

Then comes Frontier where they start becoming the Digimon themselves.

Savers would take it one step further with the Humans then punching out digimon without transforming at all.

So then of course the next step after that is human conflict itself? Maybe a human-designed AI taking advantage of conventional human instruments of warfare...

Maybe reverse it by having the Digimon becoming humans then when it is time to battle transform back into their Digimon forms.
