I always liked the Skakdi race, was disappointed when they went Always Chaotic Evil.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenGadunka is one of my favorite titans. He's incredibly stable, incredible posable, and has one of the most bizarre and cool-looking designs.
The only reason not to like him is his minor role in the story, and that doesn't matter when you can just use him as a generic monster that grabs other characters and shoves them in his giant mouth.
Maxilos would be awesome if his legs weren't floppy, and Hydraxon would be awesome if his fingers don't fall off.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.My Maxilos is pretty stable. He can shrug.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenMaxilos really would have been the best titan ever with a better leg joint (And you can probably customize that pretty easily). I love how poseable his neck is, I love the gimmick of him having a pet, and I love the gun-metal and red combination.
My favorite titans are probably Nidhikki (He's huge), Makuta (Freaking awesome looking), Gadunka, and Maxilos. Of course, my real favorite big Bionicle set is the Manas; I still have my Manas from 2001, and while the controller doesn't work anymore, they're still badass crabs.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.I'm really starting to miss the series. Even the final couple of sets were cool to me.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I miss Bionicle too.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.My thoughts on the topic: Bionicle went on for too long. I really didn't like the whole Bara Magna storyline. It was neat to see Teridax's master plan unfold, but it came at the cost of Bionicle jumping the shark for me. However, before 2009, I think it remains my favourite series ever. Very original, and with fun characters and stories.
There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.I think my interest waned around the time the Piraka showed up. Still followed the storyline partway through Mahri Nui though.
- trying too hard to be Darker and Edgier — relatedly, I felt like there was less creative use of mask/elemental powers and more Stuff Blowing Up.
- really minor, but arbitrary set of six everything started to bug me once characters/species weren't necessarily tied to particular elements/geographic locations.
- most importantly, less worldbuilding. I can picture Mata Nui/Metru Nui pretty clearly in my head, not so much places after.
Still have the comics. Sadly, while feeling nostalgic a few weeks ago, I discovered all my old BZ Power links are invalid.
Only the sun has stopped.I think the overall writing and quality improved after Mata-Nui. The dialogue became wittier, the world became more complex, and the villains had actual characterization instead of being Generic Doomsday Villain's.
I liked the early years. Mata Nui was fun, and Metru Nui was amazing.

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenGuys, I do believe I've found the worst Bionicle fangame in existence. Possibly the worst Bionicle ANYTHING in existence.

but HOW?Since it's not immediately obvious from the website, and if true I don't want to waste my time installing, could you elaborate?
Only the sun has stopped.Horrid character derailment for Gali, for one thing. Butchering the canon for no apparent reason, for another. Terrible effects for a third. Fourth, I don't care what his justification is, "Starlite" and "Starbrite" are NOT acceptable names for Toa. And that's just what pops into my head after a minute of thought. Give me a few minutes and maybe another playthrough, and I'll probably have loads more issues to talk about.
but HOW?Bionicle is gonna have a ton of terrible fan works just by the nature of it being aimed at kids. Just look at BZ Power's fan work section.
nuuuu don't target my childhood
MLWTB was what got me into writing, I want to cherish those memories T_T
but HOW?My god.
A bionicle thread.
MY CHILDHOOOOOOOOD
hiI KNOW RIGHT
-huggles fourteen-year-old sets, then drops them because ouch ouch pointy edges-
but HOW?I'm withholding judgement. Could be fake, could be legit.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThat doesn't look even slightly real.
but HOW?We're not debating whether that stand is real, it's obviously a mock-up done with likely prototypes, if it's legitimate. It would be part of a style guide, common so such developments.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenDude, it was posted on freaking Deviant Art. How am I supposed to take that even remotely seriously?
but HOW?It's on deviantart because the person was using it as an image sharing site. There's other places to find the image.
Yeah, I've seen that image two other places before that.

The titan sets were always great. The Toa Mahri arc was probably the best with that. We got Gadunka, Kharzahni, and Matrix. In 2008 we got maybe 1 or two titan characters.
The final 2010 sets were disappointing. We got sets that were incredibly small, easy to build, and maybe appeared in the story for 5 pages. They shoehorned in characters from each prominent year, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2009-10. Did we really need a Piraka character again? Whats worse is that the story didn't even die, they just left it to continue and Greg...gave up on it.
