Fanfic Recommendations Thread

The Titans and the Lost Boy and its sequel, Dark Titans are pretty good, especially if you like Ranma One Half or Teen Titans.

Reflections Lost on a Dark Road is also pretty good, but has a much Darker and Edgier vibe to it than either of its predecessors. Also, it's a crossover with The Road to Cydonia, so you should probably read that before reading Reflections Lost on a Dark Road.

Are there any good Star Wars fics out there that you guys would recondite? Maybe an AU fic where Luke and Leia went to the other's place. I.E Prince Luke Organa and Farmhand Leia Skywalker? Or any AU really.

Can anyone recommend any MLP FIM fanfics where Diamond Tiara and/or Silver Spoon get some believable character development? "One Bad Apple" made me realize they're static characters and it's sort of grating given the loads of development every other character gets.

I asked in the pony fanfic thread and they pointed me towards Smiling Flowers. Any other fic recs would be appreciated.

From the last page, Friendship Is Optimal was an awesome story, with a disturbing amount of Fridge Horror for me. But well worth reading.

Some recent awesome things I read:

Higher Stakes, a crossover between Buffy The Vampire Slayer and The Dresden Files. Amazingly awesome, very good characterizations, and one of the few stories I've read to have me tearing up*

. I won't spoil why. It does ship Harry/Buffy as well as Dawn/Lash (don't ask).

Forever!, a short one-shot where Pinkie Pie shows up in Dresden's apartment, then sends out invitations to everyone he knows for a birthday party. Imagine Harry's reaction when he finds out this includes inviting people like Marcone, Mab, and Nicodemus. Very hilarious, and I really should message the author and ask that the last chapter be expanded to another one.

I've just finished reading Sleeping With The Girls up to where it's completed so far, and I love it. All except for one part that Word of God says is going to happen later on in the story. The relationship that looks like a burgeoning romance isn't.

I'd like a rec for something that's funny, smart, and action-packed like Sleeping With The Girls, but doesn't ignore the romance aspect either.

I haven't read Sleeping With The Girls, but the fanfic I mentioned earlier, The Titans and the Lost Boy and its sequal, Dark Titans fit the constraints of being action packed, funny, and not forgetting the romance. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by smart, though. If you mean intelligible (as opposed to the horrible atrocities to the English language that you occasionally run across in fan fiction), then The Titans and the Lost Boy and Dark Titans both qualify.

I've already read the one where Jigen's possessed by the ghost of Diogenes and the one where Lupin II hospitalizes his son and Zenigata has to tangle with him, so please don't link those.

I have been obsessing over a few of the stories this writer has put out. Most notably the Puella Magi Madoka Magica one. It's apparently a prequel to a Chobits crossover. (How that makes sense is yet to be shown.) However, I did subscribe to the three stories that are apparently connected and was sent a shipload of P Ms thanking me...

I got a few stories I can recommend:

Naruto, the Black Mage: A Final Fantasy X crossover. It's mainly Naruto as all the FFX characters are dead but Lulu's spirit is still lingering and trains him in Black Magic. Pairings: None as far as I remember.

The Calamity of the Sorceress: Also a Naruto crossover with FFVII and VIII. Jenova and Ultimecia are given leather pants and are mother figures to Naruto. And since they them they're teaching his abilities he's god like. Parings: Naruto/Zabuza.

Mainly with: Homestuck, Ouran High School Host Club, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Attack On Titan, Soul Eater, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and {{Free!}}, but if you know a good crossover please let me know because there's not enough space to list all fandoms I'm in.

Sleeping With The Girls doesn't have any of those particular titles, but it's a crossover of various anime, and it's awesome.
