I'd be able to play Rod pretty well (I have the voice down) but if we're going by the double casting precedent in the original, yeah, there's no way I can hit all of Princeton's notes without sounding like Rod at some points.
The original Princeton cheated at one point, in "Purpose." The sheet music designates the "I'm gonna find my purpose yeah" thing as being a string of high Gs. He didn't do that.
Incidentally, Richard Walters (guy who puts together "The Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology," which is a fantastic series you should all own) seems to think that Princeton/Rod is a baritone.

I would love playing Christmas Eve or Gary Coleman. I love all the songs; I dont have a favorite. This musical=purely awesome.
I don’t even know anymore.It is, isn't it?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOh god. Just visiting this thread has The Internet Is for Porn lyrics in my head.

I don’t even know anymore.Hell, I've always wanted to play Nicky/Trekkie/Bad Idea Bear #1.
Just not the school edition. Eurgh.
Also, I Wish I Could Go Back to College is really freaking sad.
Say it ain't so. Please say there's not a safe-for-work version.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWhat's the point of having a safe for work version of a show that's essentially a foul-mouthed Sesame Street parody that actually provides an interesting moral in the end?!
I mean... I guess you could use it to... teach kids puppetry? :| Beats me.

Considering double casting, you'd be playing both Kate and Lucy.
I don't think I could play anyone except Brian. Princeton/Rod are just a little too high for me, due to the high Gs, and while Trekkie is within my range, Nicky (who he often doubles with) is most certainly not.
