Been to several conventions this year now that they're finally returning, just feels great to get back into it again... and my cosplay-work motivation has returned too! In terms of new costumes I've cosplayed as Spamton and Shin Amon at cons this year (and also the occasional Neptune, the last costume I finished before the pandemic killed most of my motivation with no events to actually wear the costumes to), and working on a Meito Anizawa cosplay...
I just love cons, the events and cosplaying and just general Fun Chill Con Vibes

Guys, I just returned from what I think is the biggest fantasy/RPG convention in Poland, and that is Pyrkon, hosted since several years (not counting the last two, of course) at the Poznan International Fair.
Now, while the RPG fandom is considered mostly conservative (see the first post on the previous page, for example), anime fans picked up the slack and the place looked like cosplay slash Pride event (which is good actually). Among the guests you might know were Rebecca Kuang and Edward James Olmos. I also got an autographed copy of my friend's debut novel The God Machine.
And a funny story: last night we went to the food truck hall for a beer with friends. Suddenly, I hear a racket behind me, look around and see a Walter White cosplayer with his ass on the floor, with the remains of a chair next to him.
