I see what you mean about that last stage. Oshtor and Raikou just use hit and run tactics. It's particularly annoying with the latter given his healing. I also didn't realize that Woshis' stupid skills actually do have a maximum range so next time I'm going to try to keep away from him. I just restarted to put some better equipment on everyone this time.
For Raiko, Mikazuchi with Serenity II equipped melts him. Have him get close with his movement buff (that he'll probably get to use twice before Raiko's turn) but not on Raiko's island so Raiko just waits, then rush in, hit him, get overzeal, hit him again with a final strike. Then lightning mantle comes in, then you overzeal again while he's getting hit by discharge.
40% of health gone from discharge alone + four attack chains worth of damage leaves him pretty much dead for me.

Oh yeah, that would work. I've been keeping Serenity II on Haku for sword spam. I need to get two item slots open for Mikazuchi to do that though since I also want to put escaping death on him. Don't know which map to clear to get that one though.
...Goddamnit, if I'd known that the map was considered beaten when you beat the last Akuruturka I could have done it on my first or second try. Instead I had to try something like four times? I would give up when it was just down to me and one last boss up because I didn't think I'd be able to take Woshis after the way my party was scattered and an inch from death's door due to the stacking health down effects every time.
Half my party didn't even do anything. Anju and Ougi never once attacked an enemy.

Anju's movement really limits her, she's a melee glass cannon with major problems actually getting into melee.
I gave her the +movement book and it still didn't help. I'd give her the sprinting book but her inventory space kind of sucks. If I play again I probably won't bother trying to make use of her and instead just go with Ougi or something.
I found Munechika really works well with that. She's a great tank but with her mediocre speed and movement finds it hard to get out in front of the party otherwise. It also lets her set up her tank skill after moving.
It was fun having her all buffed out with +dodge and +defense skills when going up against Benawi in the penultimate map. He simply could not touch her while she could at least occasionally get through his stupid Enkan, meaning she could have whittled him down if I'd had the time.

As it turns out, Kuon reflects and absorbs damage of the element she is and this pretty much trivialises the Oshtor fight, I wish I'd known that earlier.
So it seems after Genjimaru came to Yakutowaruto's country for the last time and gave his katana to Yakutowaruto, he died shortly after. Could this have just a few days or weeks before his death?
Also what did Genjimaru come for?

Given that Ougi knows who he is, I assume he was visiting Genho. Or at least that's why he was in Yamato. Why he was in Le... Jachdwalt's country I'm not sure since Izuruha and that place don't seem to be that close.
could he had family there, that we don't know about?
According to Jachdwalt's flashback he stayed in that village for years until it was time to head home.
We know he was in Yamato to visit Genho. He even brought him pretty flowers. I'm just going to assume that for Letarbetarland was for some reason an area he happened to pass through on his way to Izuruha.
So about uzuurussha, do we know the name of its god?
We don't get to know much about Uzurusha at all besides it having clans and being a wasteland like pre-Ozen Kujyuri, so no.
It's fantasy Mongolia, does that count for knowing much about it? Except Genghis is kind of a joke instead of being actually threatening.
Fantasy Mongolia except in the Arctic circle so it's probably freezing at the best of times.
It seemed to be steppes.
I guess Amaterasu's climate control extends beyond Yamato then.
It has to. Tuskur is covered. I'm wondering how far it does extend though since it does seem to be focused above Yamato. Is the rest of the world a giant iceball beyond, say, southern China and mid Russia?
Wait, Itak gets a unique skill? What does it do?
Just activate the water element so that every water element character gets a buff while he's alive.
The original Utawarerumono got a HD remake announced for April next year.

https://gematsu.com/2017/11/new-utawarerumono-action-story-focused-titles-development
There are apparently 3 or 4 Utawarerumono titles in development.
could UTZ be a Utawarerumono warriors game? If there is a game that takes place after Mo T, could it be something that deals with Jachdwalt's country?
I've added a few things, I'd do a character page but that's a bit too daunting for now.
