Domingo's entire "I'm a baritone now" thing. WHY. Why is he doing this. I had the misfortune of watching the 2014 Salzburg Trovatore. It was painful.

I saw Gemignani as Todd in the revival tour. He actually wasn't half bad, made me question how he handled the Beadle role in the original cast rather than the other way around. Also I wonder if that vocal role jiggling didn't happen because that particular version of the musical cast a soprano as Pirelli.

Drew Sarich in Baritone roles is something I will never get though, except in Tanz der Vampires because he was actually a really good Krolock (and his tenor actually worked ok for the role, unlike Michael Crawford DX). But seriously, that man is JCS counter-tenor high most of the time...WHY ARE YOU GIVING HIM BARITONE ROLES?!
