There is entirely too much video game music in here. I shall counter this with 80s German goth.

Non-goths? tongue

Although, I am wondering why that song has such a crappy video. And Close To Me, that one was even more inexplicable.

Anyone mind a Ratt being loose in this thread?

My wife's best female friend was a major RATT fan back in the day.

[up][up][up]I think they're on to something, since freeways are gray and depressing, after all.

We talking freeways and gothic? Well...

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Sheesh, I was afraid that once again a music thread was gonna be nothing but VGM for a gazillion pages! Oh, Tropestongue

Unfortunately I can't seem to embed whilst on my iPod, otherwise I'd unleash all sorts of 70s soul-pop awesomeness.

I have resolved to become to electronica and heavy metal what hipsters are to indie rock.

I'm scared, Charlatan.

And yes, Landy — I felt that same fear myself :) Hopefully a quick injection of all-female German goths helped, even if it's not your thing.

If it makes you feel better, Morv, I aim to achieve the same breadth of musical knowledge as them, not their level of crabbiness. tongue

Well, that, to some extent, but I plan not to be obnoxious about it.

And for that, Morven, you are greatly appreciated.

Speaking of which, would it be out of line to make a thread for people who aren't into video games or anime? Like not to bash them, but just so others know that there are others who are just as confused when people randomly reference some character from Persona Effect Bio Portal. Or maybe that would be better for covens or something?

It could work in covens, but it might get a better audience here. Not sure.

I'm still wondering what it will take to get the clash between consumers and producers about copyright to lower from frothing rage to dull roar.

Did you get to listen to the OH GOD WHAT metal yet, Morven?
