A bump with some more random ideas:
- A tiger beetle 'mon with a signature move, "Blind Charge" that does a large amount of damage but misses 50% of the time.
- A Dark type convergent Wooloo line that's based on the "Wolf in sheep's clothing" saying. Named Wolfloo and Dubwolf.
- A Steel type 'mon that looks like a cartoonishly mechanical camel spider.
- Normal/Ice type Pallas Cat.
- Early game birds: Fire/Flying cardinal, Ice/Flying Bluejays, Electric/Flying Goldfinch. May have relation to legendary bird trio?
- Electric/Bug regional Smom. Has a regional evolution based on the Virginia Tiger Moth.
- Fairy type tiger with glowing rainbow stripes.
- Rock/Water two-stage shark line. First stage is mostly within a casing that resembles one of those weird shark eggs. Second stage is more exposed, with the back half of its body being covered by the casing.
- Gall wasp pokemon with different forms representing different galls.
- Dark/Flying regional Wingull with evolution based on the frigate-bird.
- Decorator crab 'mon with multiple forms, each having a smaller version of a sessile life pokemon (Lileep, Mareaine, Binacle, etc) on its carapace.
- Two rival pokemon based on tarantulas and parasitic wasps. Tarantula has high physical stats but low special ones, wasp has high special stats but low physical ones.

Welcome to Ideal's WorldReiko's post here gave me an idea for a strawberry penguin.
Or, well, a regional variant of Piplup that's a strawberry penguin and Grass-type.
With Empoleon being Grass/Fairy.
Not an Eiscue, though. :p
Doodling some of my ideas, putting them in folders for scrolling convenience.
A little drawing of my Bug/Electric Snom concept.

Welcome to Ideal's WorldAnother ideabump:
- A Bug/Electric type based on this fossilized bug with electric antennae.
- Steel/Flying heron with extending neck. Relative of Skarmory?
- Turtle pokemon that comes in two color forms, which attach together to create a rolling ball. If encountered while rolling, the result is a double battle.
- Grass/Water bladderwort Bellsprout regional line.
- Fire/Water dalmatian with red and blue spots.

Welcome to Ideal's WorldI have an idea for a regional variant of Raichu, which is supposed to be a nod to Gorochu and a Foil to Alolan Raichu.
It's Electric/Fighting-type with a kick-based Signature Move, has some of its Special Attack reduced in favour of physical Attack, and it has the Hidden Ability Fury Foot (which acts like Iron Fist, but for kicking attacks).
He/they | Mostly here on my free daysAnother doodle, this time of the decorator crab fakemon from one of my previous posts.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldScrew it, double post, here's an idea at a Gall wasp pokemon:
Welcome to Ideal's WorldWhat about a pig that’s a Flying-type as a reference to “when pigs fly”?
Oh, I believe in yesterdayThink it would suit an evolution of an existing pig? Grumpig and Oinkologne could use some boosts. I could also see the flying pig as a fairy type.
So the other day (… well, yesterday in my time zone) I randomly got an idea (thanks to seeing a post of Reiko Kazama's).
Introducing…
- Calfoney, the Cash Calf Pokémon. A Grass-type. ("calf" + "money")
- Katelqash, the Cash Cattle Pokémon. A Grass- and Steel-type. ("cattle" + "cash")
- Minoriches, the Greedy Pokémon. A Grass- and Steel-type. ("minotaur" + "riches")
- Katelqash, the Cash Cattle Pokémon. A Grass- and Steel-type. ("cattle" + "cash")
Yeah, this is taking the whole "Cash-Cow Franchise" trope and removing that Franchise part, and then taking it literally. ^^"
Grass because there's paper money, and Steel because there's coins which are made of metal.
A Qilin Pokemon, Maybe Dragon/Water or Dragon/Fairy. Ability speed boost or a new ability that takes out Entry hazards.
Eather the Sudo-Legendary or a sand alone pokemon with Sudo Legendary stats.
Discribed as the ultimate All train race pokemon. They can run, swim, climb and fly with great speed and endunice.
It's for the fan rigon I kick around sometimes that would have Racing along with Contests and Battles. the Qilin would be the Ace of the champion racer.
Has anyone been actively doing this challenge? I have been writing down in prompts on a sheet and will do them in short bursts
A design set based on undeciphered writing systems and that Spider with a weird butt.

Welcome to Ideal's WorldActually ended up drawing the bonnacon-fakemon design I had for a contest. Foldered because while it isn't really crude or NSFW, it's... something.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldWhat was the contest about?
It was to draw a pokemon based on a mythological creature.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldI am bad as drawing, or at least not too good, but is it possible to have a Pokemon based on the concept of The 9 types of intelligence?
Maybe a Psychic type (or dual type with one part Psychic) that can change form or evolve into one of the 9 forms
Meow meow meow (I am just a lil’ hungry cat, I have nothing to do with a certain guy who hired an assassin)Do Reginal forms count?
I kinda want to make Reginal forms of all the pokemon who's types change when the Mega Evolve. Hey if mega's don't come back we could get mega's at home...
I just went to chatgpt and ask for a Pokemon based on TV Tropes...
Name: Tropiusaur
Type: Normal/Fairy
Description: Tropiusaur is a Pokémon that embodies the essence of storytelling and tropes. Its appearance is reminiscent of a playful and whimsical dinosaur with vibrant, ever-changing colors on its scales, symbolizing the diversity of tropes found in different narratives.
Abilities:
Trope Mimicry: Tropiusaur has the ability to temporarily adopt the characteristics of various storytelling tropes. For example, it might gain the agility of a "Plot Armor" trope, making it harder to be hit in battle, or the charm of a "Love Triangle" trope to confuse opponents.
Genre Shifter: Tropiusaur can shift its typing temporarily to match the genre of the story it's currently part of. This ability gives it an advantage in battles by adapting to the strengths and weaknesses associated with different genres.
Signature Move: Story Arc Surge Tropiusaur unleashes a burst of energy that creates a temporary field altering the battlefield conditions, such as stat changes or type advantages, resembling the twists and turns of a narrative arc.
Personality: Tropiusaur is known for its playful and unpredictable nature, often surprising trainers with unexpected behaviors and abilities. It thrives on the excitement of storytelling and enjoys being the center of attention, adapting to the tropes and themes of the moment.
Habitat: Tropiusaur is often found in areas rich with creativity, such as theaters, libraries, and places where stories are told. Trainers with a strong sense of imagination are more likely to encounter this unique Pokémon.
This Pokémon is designed to celebrate the creativity and diversity found in storytelling, making it a fascinating addition to the Pokémon world inspired by the world of TV Tropes.
I want a mon based on an echidna.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantUh. Cyndaquil definitely looks echidna-ish but it doesn't stay that way when it becomes Quilava, and Typhlosion is even less so (Don't get me wrong, the little guy is still my favourite Johto starter, and the one I definitely regret not choosing on my first run through SoulSilver. I'm just saying.)

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantThey'd never do this because any kid who looked up the inspiration would probably not be good for business, and it might potentially be culturally insensitive too but... A Pokemon based on the Wendigo. Ice/Dark type.
Made the forum game for anyone who wants to do it.
