Basically anything by Explosions in the Sky, Moonlit Sailor, or Hammock.
Here's a personal favorite of mine:
Owl City! Anything by Owl City
Add to that Fourteen Drawings by Helios, Ten Words by Joe Satriani, Take The Time by Dream Theater, and two of my all-time favourite pieces of music, Spirit Of The Universe (by Don Davis) and A Song For Danielle (a piano piece by Jordan Rudess).
There's more, but those are the ones that come to mind.
Approved, Hammock's music is sublime and Explosions In The Sky are probably my favourite post-rock act.

Because I choose to.I was trying to think of specific examples of songs that make me feel good, but then I came to a conclusion: all the songs I really like make me feel good, even if the song is angry or melancholy. If I think it sounds awesome, it cheers me up regardless of the mood it's trying to convey.
last.fm | RYM"She's an Angel" by They Might Be Giants and "It'5!" by Architecture in Helsinki. Not really sure why.
—The first half of Sigur Ros's ().
Words cast into the uncaring void of the internet.Agreed. Replace 'Seize the Day' with 'Hammock' in OP and it still holds true. Same goes for most Post-Rock bands.
4:54 in Untitled 1 (Vaka) = single most glorious moment in their entire discography, except for possibly 4:37 in Glosoli.
The most cosy, feel-good album I own is Through The Windowpane by Guillemots. It's like walking through rain, getting inside, starting a log fire and then curling up on a sofa and covering yourself with a warm, snuggly blanket. Case in point:

Listen to Music with Tropers at The Troper Turntable!Anything by Wesley Willis. That man loved being happy.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/The vast majority of songs by the Cat Empire.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffSeconding Helios and Sigur Ros. As far as Sigur Ros albums go, I'd recommend Takk... myself. The live versions of "Staralfur" and "Von", off of the Hvarf/Heim B-side/live album are also amazing.

Oh, and we can't forgot this one.
með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust is... inconsistent, but when it's good, it's amazing. This is probably one of the most absolutely joyful things they've ever recorded.
Do Make Say Think
Seriously, Do Make Say Think is just pure sonic joy. Also most of "The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place" by Explosions in the Sky.

You've lost. You're the Bomb Squad after the bomb's gone off. I'm the blast ongoing. In complete agreement. It's an album that manages to be triumphant without being oppressive.
Words cast into the uncaring void of the internet.Yessssss, I love Do Make Say Think.
Mika. He has a few sad songs, but there's WAY more happy ones.
Sufjan Stevens' "Chicago" just makes me feel... Exalted, I guess is the word.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Just wanted to point out that the lyric is "It's empty and cold".
I don't tend to listen to music to get this reaction, because my cynical side tells me it's cheap and shameless. That being said, when I hear David Draiman's malisma, I think "What a beautiful man..."
And sometimes power ballads get to me. Street of Dreams by the Axl Rose's GNR, Starlight by Slash (Myles Kennedy's voice in general is uplifting) and Zzyzx Rd. by Stone Sour to name a few.

Pet Shop Boys. Always On My Mind gives me the good kind of chills.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could drink you under the table~Virtually anything by Caravan. They’re just such a “positive vibes” group.
Maximum the Hormone's album Buiikikaesu is pretty damn good... I luv it. Also Sum 41's All Killer No Filler. Also anything by Stinking Lizaveta.
This song unleashes my inner rage just listening to it, and is the best song of the last decade IMHO.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceI have to agree with you. I adore the motown feel that both the song and the video have. Just awesome!
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella.I'd have to say the Indiana Jones theme. No matter how much life gets me down, listening to that song gets me pumped enough to seize life by the neck and beat it upside the damn head.
Same with Eye of the Tiger and Valhall Awaits Me.
Almost all Blind Guardian songs. Especially their covers. Link:

This song, especially this version of it, makes me feel like I could rip a giant's heart with my own hands
I don't know why, but everytime I listen to Seize The Day I want to cry, but I ultimately feel better for it.
Seize the day, or die regretting to time you lost, it's so cold and lonely without you here, so many people to ache over.
Edit was typo link fix.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.
