Two of the alt arts from File of White have been revealed, the obvious candidates of Albaz and Ecclesia, both set post "A New Frontier" and decked out in new clothes and wielding new weapons, acting as wandering protectors and defending a group of villagers in the desert.

  • Albaz is wielding a Springan Dagger powered by Rockey-chan, the dagger appearing to be an upgraded version of the ice shard he wielded as Albaz the Ashen. More interestingly though, is that Albaz has his left eye back. It also seems to be glowing, maybe in relation to Rockey-chan letting his right arm be lit ablaze, maybe it just naturally looks like that.
  • Ecclesia has a new Springan Warhammer, this one appearing to have its own internal fuel system due to Rockey-chan not needing to power it and based on Granguignol's head. She also appears to have some holdovers from when she was turned into Cartesia, namely a pair of ethereal horns able to manifest on her head, and a small set of wings akin to Granguignol's on her back.

The Valmonicas will greatly appreciate that trap discard effect. They need the resonance counters to do a lot of their big plays, so an auto 3 of in any valmonica deck

The GY effect on the trap is jaw-droppingly good for the deck, but I disagree with saying it's an auto 3 off. It's the kind of card that you'd want to play just the one copy of, but Vaalmonica's search power isn't quite good enough to justify that, so you grudgingly play a second copy.

I feel like I'm missing something. What's the reason to use Dominus Purge instead of Ash Blossom? Or is the trap just supposed to be your 4th~6th Ash Blossom copy?

My guess, the latter, but the edge case here would be if cards that could hinder the barefoot kid, but not trap cards become meta.

Judging from the art and attribute requirements, it might also be like Snake-Eye and Clear New World, a teaser for an upcoming metaplot.

Makes sense, though I would've gone with Quem or Fluer over Cartesia.

Well, too bad for Arcana Force and Cyber Dragon fans, the last third of the LIGHT Duelist Pack is XYZ! Can't say I saw anyone predict that.

I wonder if this has been on the shelf for a long time because they've been waiting to release Y - Dragon Yearhead in a Dragon Year.

I like to think that this card is the data of Aqua Ai was able to recover and rebuild in "Duel Links" before reuniting her with Aoi. And that that last effect is something Ai deliberately gave her so she could avoid anyone trying Bohman's bullshit again.

Trickstar Aqua Angel
WATER
LV: 4
[Fairy/Effect]
(This card is always treated as a "Marincess" card.)
You can only use the (1)st and (3)rd effect of this card’s name each once per Duel.
(1) If you control a "Trickstar" or "Marincess" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY.
(2) Link Monsters that point to this card cannot be destroyed by battle.
(3) If this card is sent to the GY as Link Material: You can look at your opponent’s hand and all their Set cards.
ATK: 0 / DEF: 0

The puffballs are apparently capable of static cling.
Detonating Kuriboh
DARK
LV: 1
[Fiend/Effect]
You can only use the 1st and 2nd effect of this card's name each once per turn.
(1) If a "Kuriboh" Monster Card is on the field: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
(2) When your opponent activates a monster effect on the field (Quick Effect): You can equip this card you control to that opponent’s monster as an Equip Spell with this effect.
  • The equipped monster's effects are negated.

ATK: 300 / DEF: 200

We got more Lore on the whole "Visas" situation courtesy of VBEX 4. Turns out:
  • None of the Hearts suffered Death of Personality when they gave up their Ego, they were all still alive inside of Visas.
  • Riseheart was obsessed with becoming "Visas" himself because he remembered Veda and felt only by becoming "Visas" could he stop him, and that none of the others had the will to do it. He even warns Visas that, while he'll hand control over to him now, if Veda manages to beat him again, then Riseheart will take control to stop Veda. Basically, Riseheart is White.
  • "Amritara" was deliberately created by Visas to serve as a new home for the Scareclaw, Tearlament, and Kashtira, the three all recognizing Visas as their king now. Even so, Visas is still weary of the Kashtira due to their following Riseheart beforehand, and was planning on leaving to visit the other worlds he'd yet to travel to.
  • Veda almost feels like a Mad Scientist. He was the one who robbed Visas of his emotions, and has been observing the cycle of death and rebirth that Visas has undertook, noting that each one always had him reclaim the four hearts, but the order was different each time, and only now did something like "Amritara" come to pass. So he decided to see if Visas was "ready", and attempted to destroy Amritara to goad him into a fight. Veda and Visas were evenly matched, but Veda still started the cycle anew by sending Visas back to the beginning.
  • In the new cycle, Visas and Reichheart do battle once more, but they begin feeling the Ghost Memory of the previous cycle, realizing this has all happened before for them. Rather than absorb Reichheart again though, Visas instead offered his hand in friendship, the two agreeing to fight with each other as their own beings this time.
