So it seems like Podcasts are a type of broadcast except rather than on the air they're distributed online. Well, considering that we only have two topics for Podcasts, one in New Media and another in Western Animation, is it alright if we make Radio the unofficial subforum for Podcasts?

Radio, like Second-Person Narration, is a very underrated medium that still Needs More Love in my opinion. I know that ever since the introduction of the television in the 1950s there been a decline in radio but with the millennium age of technology, with XM and online radio, I'm hoping it makes a comeback. Theres just that aesthetic quality of wing able to tune into a radio station, whether on the air or online streaming, that I think is unmatched.
Anyway, not sure where I was going with this but I'd much rather be awakened by a Jazz radio station than my alarm clock's buzzer.
