And also part of that may be accepting that it might be a Julian-only thing, so his identity doesn't have to change that drastically. Which does factor into some harmful stereotypes, e.g. "Why do you call yourself bisexual? You're married to a guy and I've only ever seen you fayer men?".
Yeah, my bad, I meant Aaron.
And the plot thickens... Julian is attracted to Kiley, maybe due to her somewhat boyish frame, and asks her to provide therapy help like she did with Deedee.
So, there's this trope on Pixie Trix Comix page:
However, according to wikipedia on no-fault divorce:
I'm pretty sure that changes things.
Somebody who knows Canadian law properly can best comment here, but my understanding (from discussions in the comic's comments area and Wikipedia) is that the modern principle is no fault divorce, though the old "fault" grounds — adultery and desertion — are still grounds for divorce. So GiGi can probably get a divorce more easily with evidence of adultery, but the law's position is that this is just handy evidence that the marriage has failed; the terms of the ensuing settlement won't be influenced by the fact that he's apparently a bit of a jerk. The law isn't concerned with who's a jerk.
However, Canadian lawyers are welcome to correct this.
= Spindriver =Kiley and Julian are about to do some "exploring"
I can't help but feel this isn't going to go well for her. I don't see Julian being needlessly cruel, but I could readily see him just not being able to go through with things, maybe with a side order of him describing the parts of her that he is attracted to, and her realizing they're all her less-feminine ones and/or practically describe Aaron.
You'd be wrong. He has a type, which isn't entirely gender-specific.
= Spindriver =
I think he needs to realize that Julian isn't a straight guy who's gay for Aaron's manly hotness, first.
