Hitler did seem to love the idea of an Aryan Jesus rebelling against the evil Jews, and apparently tried to run with that interpretation to try to sell his ideas to Christians. That hardly makes him a Christian, however.

Yeah, well, Hitler's campaign ran a lot off of demonizing the Jews. And if you get fed the same shit everyday, you'll eventually come to accept that shit.

Also, the idea of a white Jesus just hurts man, it hurts from both a historical perspective and biblical perspective.

Nah, South Park did it first. Anyway, Jesus is just one of those people in history who's so influential as to have been portrayed in every race, colors, and nation. Seriously, google Indian Jesus, he's in the same meditative position as The Buddha is often portrayed as (who gets similarly race treatment). But the idea of Jesus being any particular race upon returning just strikes me as inherently wrong.

That makes me think of the Kakurekurishitans. In order to practice Christianity the Japanese followers used the figures of Amitabha and Kanon to represent Jesus and Mary and reworked prayers to sound like Japanese style Buddhist chanting. A few schools of this became ancestor worship though. A few small batches of them still exist.

That seems to be what it is mainly. I find the idea interesting. They revere Jesus and the other figures for being awesome but treat them as just people. People who were awesome and have good lessons to pass on. In a way it's similar to Buddhism's feelings for the Buddha. It just lacks a "WE ARE LEAVING REALITY" edge.

Actually, that's surprisingly common throughout the world. Most people, even if they aren't religious, do have a tendency to use religious figures as role models along side other major figures, probably because it's kind of hard to beat people like Jesus and The Buddha in the all around good person department.

Indeed and I find that interesting even though it's common. Its commonness doesn't reduce it's interestingness.

Eh, I suppose. It's not that odd for me. Since... the age four I've been making editing a list of various role models and their ideals and high points to compare myself to. Kind of the whole point of betterment I suppose, it gives a nice (if impossible, but hey, all the more reason to chase it) goal.

Odd doesn't mean interesting for me. You can make sense to me or normal and still be interesting...Then again I seem to have the power to be excited about everything and interested in stupid things like the dots on a wall.

Eh, I'll grant you there are things to discover about everyday life that are interesting but they fail to excite me as much as alien concepts and places. Particularly places. Must go discover ancient, falling apart ruins and explore them. Luckily, due to the recent recess, such places are not hard to find in the US... or China for that matter but that's harder to reach.

But rereading the same book is the most interesting thing ever! You always find new little bits you never really noticed or paid much attention to and it becomes more beautiful and complete each time...

For a rare breed of book, yes. But I'd much rather do that with a place. One of my old haunts back before college was an abandoned mall. Amazing how even in an abandoned structure, there's still life in the form of small animals and insects, slowly leaving their mark on the place.

I prefer it with books because I find words more beautiful than images. I do love exploring places I've been though. I like watching things grow and change...

Books I will read again every once in a while but only after several years of me changing as a person. It tends to make things very different sounding when you read through a book again. Like Pinocchio. Holy crap, Pinocchio. How was I not terrified of what happened in that book when I was younger?

Anyway, particular places to explore will always be old human environments. Nature is eternal, humans are ephemeral and have clues to leave behind.

Hooray! I can show you all of the show's kawaii glory and tell you who I ship with whom!

Now, onto the fanfic. This is sort of a preliminary chapter to see what you guys will think. Be sure to give me your honest opinion, this will probably be stupid.

Chapter 1

Terroja had been sitting in front of his computer for a while now, contemplating what to do now. He realized he was in hot water with even his own fanbase over a semi-recent fiasco with a group of faminists. He decided that his best bet would be to make sure he didn't come off as too serious, as to do that would basically be to admit that he was completely in the wrong. It would be better if he acted goofy, maybe even to the point that he could convince people that he was trolling. Perhaps some self-deprecating humor was in order? He thought for a moment. The only flaw he could ever recall having been pointed out about himself was that he was kind of fat.

Moments later, TJ was wearing the tightest pair of khaki shorts he was able to find in his closet. He hiked up the leggings of the shorts and rolled them up so they would remain suspended around his leg fat. He turned on "Booty Man" by Tim Wilson, turned around, bent over, and started shaking his butt in front of a webcam. Surely, he thought, this would show people he was an easy-going, funny guy and people would like him again.

Miles away, Jack Chick was brainstorming ideas for his newest tract. He had heard of this new thing called "Youtube" that was apparently known for leading people astray by being highly addictive and hosting secular material, but he wasn't entirely sure what it was. As someone who prided himself on thoroughly researching subjects he wrote about in his tracts, he went to his computer and typed in "youtube" in the search bar. On the front page of the website, the first thing to catch his eye was a video titled "Oh, what a booty!" by a user called The Amazing Atheist.
