Made a thing in Google Song Maker for a forum game I'm in.

artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."I have a You Tube channel called Alkali Earth Metal (search by channel if you want to find the artist instead of science videos)
I can't access YT right now but I'll edit in a link when I can.
Full moon is on the sky and he's not a man anymoreMikey Melodica - Just Four Songs (yeah, that's the name of the album I decided - I had been wondering to myself whether I should try to write more stuff for it or keep it to "just four songs", and somehow that turned into actually naming the album that). I'm starting to toy with a thing where the more experimental things I do will continue to be under my older artist name, Quetzalcoatlus, but when I try to more structured pop/rock songs (of a sort) it'll be under Mikey Melodica.

Something Else by Mikey Melodica. I'm going to get more creative with future album titles - if it helps this one is also a The Kinks Shout-Out? Anyway, I'm continuing to focus on lyric-based songs, but this one is a bit more abstract about it.

SoundCloudDo you know anyone who's into Vocaloid (well, Synth V)? If so, they might like this song by yours truly!

That's pretty cool. I'm just starting to give some of the vocaloid stuff out there a listen. I learned about it on this very wiki but I've been holding off on exploring because there's a lot of it out there.
I sampled the road work going on outside my house this morning as a percussion loop for a song.

i think i’m in love (probably just hungry)here's some more stuff, one noisy electronic jam and one dream pop-ish... thing. oh, and whatever the hell the third track's meant to be.
if all goes well, i'll have my debut album out later this month!
i think i’m in love (probably just hungry)I've been refining and developing my sound, which turned out to fit the 80s throwback synthwave genre.
SoundCloudI'm trying to learn at least a few guitar chords so I can try to write my own songs on guitar. In the mean time, all I have to show for it is an experimental nonsense cover of "Horse With No Name".
Also, this is from months ago, but I don't think I showed you guys: a friend added guitar to one of my original songs - the original version was all sequenced on a phone app, and the tempo was faster.

Witches of the 70s - Smoke EP. New project of me and a friend of mine - we've been collaborating for a little while, and I took the liberty of picking a band name out of a list we had, putting together some art (closeup of a small painting I did) and making it into an EP to throw up on soundcloud. He's mainly doing vocals (I Step Up to the Microphone on the last track), "The Child Lives 2" is mostly him with melodica playing by me, "Greasy Cryin'" is mostly me with backing vocals and slide guitar by him, and everything else is the result of me and him trading files back and forth online.
Song for a novel by a guy who also does tropes

Presenting Exquisite Corpse, the second Witches of the 70s release - let's call it a "mini-album": 10 tracks in about 18 minutes. At this rate an LP length album would have been 15-20 songs, and this feels loose and all-over-the-place as it is. Maybe this is how we're going to work these things - just make a new release every 10 tracks regardless of length.
edit: Also, I feel like noting I sang more on this one, which I'm proud of because I was a bit mic-shy on the first EP: My lead vocals are on tracks 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8, and I co-lead on 4, 8, 9, and 10. Curty, the other member, wants to try to get this put out on vinyl, no concrete plans yet but would be cool - if it gets closer to reality I might suggest putting this and the previous release on the same LP if possible, because I figured out that would be just about 30 minutes all combined.

ooh... i honestly really like this, the second and ninth and last tracks in particular. kinda reminds me of a more horror-themed u want the scoop?.
so, it's been a while since i last posted here! in those few months away, i have released;
- my debut album, faust! with a complimentary unreleased outtake, faust [main theme] .
- my second ep, glove puppets, which experiments with a more shoegazy sound.
- my third ep, 2 (bc it has 2 tracks and released on 2/2/22), focusing more on atmospheric soundscapes.
- my FOURTH ep, common people; 3 tracks experimenting with noisier shoegaze-influenced post-punk and the remaining 2 being mainly electronic.
- also a single for the opening track, eugene. features a trip hop-ish b-side.
- a single, static cloud, which i released literally just now. idk if i'll put this on an album or not, we'll see.
most of these (aside from static cloud) are currently on streaming, too.

i think i’m in love (probably just hungry)It is I, back again with another vocal synthesizer bop (I hope it's a bop, at least)! Today, I bring you what happens if you try to make a club banger but also depresso af. Here you go, please tell me what you think!
Thanks, I'll have to check that out. The horror themes weren't necessarily deliberate but they're definitely there, and largely my doing - there's a few horror movie samples, "Sandown Clown" is about an utterly bizarre urban legend, "Misanthrope Waltz" ended up with a 1408 reference because I'd just watched the movie adaptation before I wrote the lyrics, "Inhabitants of Zinge" is titled as an obscure H. P. Lovecraft Shout-Out and has deliberately goofy Ominous Latin Chanting note etc
More recently we did a Devo cover just for fun. Or basically, Curty found found midi files for the original song and played them through Bandlab presets, I sang lead over it and he added backup vocals.

earlier today i released gisele kerozene, the first of three singles i'm gonna try to put out this month! it's a piece heavily inspired by early stereolab (in particular tracks like jenny ondioline and golden ball).
bandcamp is here, youtube is here. there's also a music video for it on my channel, but bc it has gore in it i won't link it here.
