Hmmmmm things to recommend.
Video game-wise would be:
- Crimson Skies for the Xbox
- Mass Effect for the 360
- Red Dead Revolver for the Xbox
Other Stuff:
- Karen Traviss' Republic Commando novels are pretty good if you can get past all the Jedi bashing
- Watchm- Nah, people have heard that enough
- Inuyasha, never read the manga but the show was great
- Bon Cop Bad Cop for fellow Canadians
- Grosse Pointe Blank

There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. What's a good MP 3/ Portable media player to have? I want something that uses a drag and drop format for it's files, and a price range of $200 - $300.
I currently have an 8 gig Sony Walkman. It's done fine, but i wish i could put more movies on it.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Good sci-fiction something like Doctor Who but in novel form not too dark but dark still.

Craving three things in a game right now: Something cutesy, something with a female protagonist, and something with good character customization. I don't require all three, but it at least needs a female character to play as and one of the other two.
I tend to gravitate towards RPGs (preferably not turn-based) and MMORPGs at the moment. That said, it's not really a must.
Currently, Guild Wars and The Sims 3 have my attention, but I have my reservations for both of them.
I'm unsure about The Sims 3 due to the focus on costly expansion packs, some complaints I heard about a lack of content and trouble modding, and some complaints I've heard about the facial sliders not being particularly good.
I'm unsure about Guild Wars because it's obviously not cutesy, I've heard bad things about the community, and the customization is pretty bare-bones.
Other games that have piqued my curiosity are Atelier Rorona and Phantasy Star Portable 2, but both won't be out until September.
I have all the current and last generation systems, as well as a good computer, so that's not a problem.

What Sherlock Holmes films/TV series are good? Preferably ones not based on books. I've only seen the RDJ one and heard of the new BBC one.
Also, which is the best of the Hound of the Baskervilles adaptations?

She's playing with fire! He's not ready for Nibbly Pig!@Miijhal: I hear that the Dept Heaven games are pretty good... Try to play at least one of them. You should like Iji and Touhou as well, and Persona 3 Portable is fine, too.

Last Defense Line.Searching for something (any medium) that has a post-apocalyptic, mysterious and somewhat nihilist atmosphere. Examples of the kind of stuff I seek include MD Geist, You Are Empty and, uh, Arrival in Hell *.
What about Twelve Thirteen?
Kill all math nerdsThanks for giving away the ending, ass.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!d/led it, but there's an error saying my computer can't support the resolution. Anytihng else?
The game was made in Adventure Game Studio, and games made in that usually have a setup utility packed with them. Use that to set a different resolution, and try it in windowed mode.

A good comic book with a supernatural theme?
You're looking for this person.Glowsquid: Not entirely post-apocalyptic, but try the STALKER series.0
Depends on what you mean by Supernatural. But if you’ve read The Sandman (if memory serves, you have) and enjoyed it, I’d suggest the other DC titles such as Hellblazer (and some of the old Swamp Thing stuff that first had John in it), Lucifer, and The Books Of Magic.
What little I’ve read of the Hellboy series seems promising.
Also, there’s Doctor Fate and Doctor Strange, but I must admit I haven’t followed either series.

Justice is a joy to the godly, but it terrifies evildoers.Proverbs21:15 FimFiction account.^Never ended up finishing though... sounds good.
You're looking for this person.Fiction in general with the following themes:
- Solitary figure, be it Loners Are Freaks or All of the Other Reindeer facing impossible odds headlong. Can be mundane or can be supernatural/fantastic.
- Main character is morally ambiguous, and perhaps very mentally unstable.

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.@Schtiz: for the second one, Kara No Kyoukai is a pretty good one, if a bit convoluted. For the first, nothing comes to mind.
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Is there anything you people would like to recommend to me?
@ Schitzo: Have you read Ted Chiang's short story Understand?
survival of the tight-lipped@ Lockan: Fuck, It's not completely translated?
@ Aoede: not yet. Will now though, thanks.
Anything else?
@ Spooky: I highly recommend the Splatterhouse games.
