She's getting downright ''scary''...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? So David Morgan Mar is taking a page out of XKCD's playbook and trying to intentionally start an internet meme. And yes, XKCD has attempted it before, at least once.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)I fully support Morgan-Mar's meme-smithing.

Just my two cents, but memes do not work that way. It's called forcing a meme, and it's frowned upon.

I'm sure - or at least I hope - that DMM meant no harm. It's more of an internet experiment than a meme... I don't think it's intended to last. He just mentioned the phrase, the readers all went on to verify, and the internet monster turned it into a thing.
Forced meme or not, it's an interesting analysis of how the internet works - he took a phrase that meant nothing and, by mentioning that it got no google responses, it quickly developed into spam site material. The internet is, now more than ever, kinda like a living thing...
"Coruscant. The entire planet is one big city."
I'm kind of surprised that DMM didn't even link to his previous (and much more thorough) thrashing of the idea here and here. That's 8 comics making fun of Coruscant, right there.
I suspect he didn't want to go through the email barrage again.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Well, that's a problem, because he couldn't get away with Ben not complaining and complaining about it will generate emails. His best bet really would've been saying "Yeah, I've already gotten enough emails about it".
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Actually I randomly peeked at the D&D forums today and saw he posted about it. Basically "we know IWC people are tired of it but D&D is separate and it had to be there. That said, it's not the focus."
The commentary underneath makes this one 300% funnier with its implications.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)WOW. That was creative. I guess that's why Yoda didn't give anyone a chance to interrupt that speech in the movie.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)I just fear for the day when Annie plays a poetic Vader...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Best. Foreshadowing. Ever.
Big on the in-jokes, I see.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The Staff145 I've got a bad feeling about this.
Specifically, it looks like the Irregulars are setting up that old chestnut "The Balance Of The Force means an equal number of Jedi and Sith". Blehhhhh.
The commentary below the comic makes it all okay.
So apparently Ric OliƩ's job description includes "describe every planet we visit to Anakin".

It's amazing that they haven't ripped up Sally's character sheet yet. Too funny!
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Note how fast the DM went along with it. I guess they needed some way to take out their insanity on the players...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Funny, I was expecting Annie to be try to renegotiate while Ben just acted bewildered. We've got all our archetypes here—loonie, munchkin, two real roleplayers and what I guess you could call a "real man".
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)This is easily the best use of the screenshots so far. Especially panel 4 and the last panel.
"You don't follow or Qui-gon doesn't follow?"

And i thought they were joking about Ani being part of the mob.
edit: Why do i still suck at making links?

Umbran Climax◊I love the title of this one. Also, Artoo is "short and cuddly".
Ep 108
I love Sally's lines. "Wesa makes up our own luck!"
