And you all thought that story arc with Franz was just filler.
It was foreshadowing.
Disgusted, but not surprisedOh hah this guess turned out surprisingly close.
The smirk in that corner from Tarvek and Gil. Tarvek knew what he was doing and Gil knew he would do it. They have really synced up as partners in crime.
"They're absolute animals! Uncouth murder hoboes!"
So in other words, they'll be right at home in Mechanicsburg?
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameThey're also monster hunters. Mechanicsburg isn't fond of monster hunters on general principle since a lot of the inhabitants are monsters.

Night Century of the Hunter
Well, Agatha is giving sternly barked orders to the Dreen. I don't think even Klaus could do that.
Did Klaus also placate them with shortbread? They seem to like the stuff.

Disgusted, but not surprisedLooks like the Foglios forgot that the wasp-eater has wings now.
I am seriously loving how expressive and quirky the Dreen are being shown to be after having spent the entire comic up to this point acting all mysterious and stoic.
Anyone can look mysterious when they're wearing a sheet over themselves.
Disgusted, but not surprised...I mean, Krosp technically is a king. Well played indeed.
Comic for Wendesday, April the 24th.
I like that guy! Or, well, I don't really, but I like his contribution to the story and the ambiguity as to whether he's supposed to be a good guy or a bad guy. Well, or a Butt-Monkey.
Martellus is ultimately after his own interests, its just that, as with many things in the series, they sometimes align with the interests of the main characters.

Martellus is evil but he is not aligned with Lucrezia and he is smart enough to know Enemy Mine.
I was expecting him to be harder to negotiate with, though. Well, I guess just nobody is a match for the Heterodyne in her castle.

Sending Krosp to negotiate with Martellus also works because of their common connection. Martellus' old mentor was Krosp's creator. There's a mutual...respect (for lack of a better term) between them.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI feel the Castle would enjoy popping Martellus ships after waking up from the time freeze.
As a treat.
"You can reply to this Message!"Yep. Whether it thinks they're a threat or good target practice, it would definitely shoot down any ships above it.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThat implies there is a distinction between the categories.
"You can reply to this Message!"TBF, while there's overlap, not all things the Castle would consider target practice are things it would consider threats.

Okay, good. 'Cause she does.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Yah know, I find it real difficult to buy this redemption arc, since by my knowledge we haven't really addressed the fact that he's the reason Agatha needs to have her weasel with her at all times.
Tarvek created the Robo Lucrezia that was the main antagonist of the previous arc on the queen spring island. Having been a Big Problem is not a disqualifier from redemption, his problem is that he is actively resisting it.
I love how the story is going to places completely unexpected but that also make total sense.
Reckless monster hunters. Of course.
Well this is Mechanicsburg, I'm sure the city has faced bigger sources of destruction.
