The New Adventures Of Peter Rabbit has a rather odd moment where Benny stumbles into Mr. Tod’s den and promptly gets invited for dinner. When the former asks what’s for dinner, Mr. Todd replies with “baked rabbit”. Not getting the memo, Benny says, “I’ve never had it but I try to keep an open mind when it comes to food. I’ll try anything once.”
Rio: Truth in Television, but mostly done to show how evil he is- Nigel the Cockatoo is fed chicken by his reluctant owners, a ritual which he takes pleasure in tormenting them during. After nearly biting off one of their fingers with the implication he would have gladly eaten that too, they verbally chastise him as a 'cannibal'. Only a little later he proves this, trying to trick one of the caged birds under his watch into stepping into his mouth, to bite down and only barely miss taking said bird's leg off with an Evil Laugh to boot.
Madam Mim tries to dispatch Merlin this way four times during the Wizards Duel in The Sword in the Stone by turning herself into a predatory animal that preys on what Merlin has turned himself into (Crocodile, Fox, Hen, and Snake in response to Merlin's Turtle, Rabbit, Worm, and Mouse, respectively.) We can only hope this is not common for duels of this type.
