----
!!Super Rivals provides examples of:
* AnimalEaredHeadband: Cindi wears a pair of rabbit ears as part of her Thunder Bunny costume, which combined with her LeotardOfPower makes her look like a superpowered PlayboyBunny.
* AscendedFangirl: Cindi, aka Thunder Bunny, was stoked to work alongside her personal hero, Awesome Girl on a "secret mission", and was broken-hearted when it seemed like Awesome Girl had set her up. [[spoiler:However, she later learned it was actually Madam Mischief from the real Awesome Girl.]]
* BerserkButton: For Robyn (Latex Scorpion) it's pity, or perceived pity, that's guaranteed to make her angry, as Awesome Girl finds out when she expresses sympathy for Latex Scorpion's [[https://superrivals.com/comic/super-rivals-2-page-11/ upbringing.]]
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Thunder Bunny is usually one of the nicest, bubbly, if somewhat ditzy, superheroines you'll ever meet, but after she managed to get her hands on Madam Mischief, she almost beat the villain to death in anger for tricking her into helping to steal the Negacube.
* BiggerIsBetterInBed: The resident SupermanSubstitute isn't called "Astonishing Man" just because of his superpowers. His [[GagPenis equipment]] is large enough to, well, ''astonish'' even the [[ReallyGetsAround very]] sexual experienced Thunder Bunny when she first lays eyes on it.
* BuxomBeautyStandard: Rest assured the MostCommonSuperpower is in full effect in Wonderberg.
* CostumeEvolution: Latex Scorpion starts off wearing a red outfit, but as of Issue 7 she's began to wear a [[DarkIsNotEvil black one.]]
* CrazyPrepared: As Iron Shadow learns first-hand, Latex Scorpion has faced enough ArrogantKungFuGuy's who like to show off by [[BulletCatch catching]] her scorpion tails out of the air that she keeps a couple that are completely coated in toxin, so her opponant will still be poisoned upon grabbing them.
* DatingCatwoman: The night after Brenda's HostageSituation is foiled it's revealed that Latex Scorpion has been sleeping with her, when the clown pays Robyn a visit in her bed.
* DepravedDwarf: Iron Mangler is revealed to be a little person piloting a suit of power armor named Zebediah Smudge, who like his [[Characters/IronManCentralRoguesGallery inspiration]], was a former business partner of Terry Stork's who was secretly selling weaponry and tech to villains. Thunder Bunny's Dominatrix roommate even recognizes him as a former client of hers who hired her to engage in infantilism role play.
* TheDitz: Aspiring superheroine Thunder Bunny isn't exactly the brightest bulb around. She got kicked out of the junior Justice Buddy's for throwing a bus full of nuns at a supervillain.
* {{Expy}}: Being an AffectionateParody of comic books, Super Rivals is naturally [[CastOfExpies full of pastiches and amalgamations of pre-existing superhero characters]], often made HotterAndSexier.
** Borderline Brenda is a... borderline [[PracticallyJoker insane clown girl with a sick sense of humour and talent for getaways.]]
** Unitcorn wears a similar Powersuit to the ''[[Characters/SpiderManCentralRoguesGallery Rhino]]'', but with a sillier theme.
** Krushya is a [[ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulk scientist turned into a hyper muscular rage monster]], but is female and has green hair and purple skin.
** Terry Stork, Industrial Man, is basically ''ComicBook/IronMan'', but he is blonde and his more negative aspects--hedonism, poor communication, and jerkishness--have been dialled up a notch.
** The Hero Babes For Hire, Throwdown and Iron Shadow, are female versions of ''[[ComicBook/HeroesForHire Iron Fist and Luke Cage]].''
** Thunder Bunny wears a outfit similar to ''[[Characters/MarvelComicsCarolDanvers Carol Danvers']]'' second Ms Marvel costume, and has [[ComicBook/TheUnbelievableGwenpool Gwenpool]]'s fangirl energy and pink highlights.
** The shapeshifter Madam Mischief, is a far more sadistic and ruthless ''ComicBook/{{Mystique}}''.
** Alexi "Lexi" Luxor, is a female pastiche of another [[Characters/SupermanLexLuthor bald, morally bankrupt, CEO who has it in for superheroes.]]
** Scarlett Sorceress is the ''Characters/ScarletWitch'', but with ''[[ComicBook/RavenDCComics Raven's]]'' pointy hooded cape worn over Emma Frost-like lingerie, all coloured red [[ColourCharacter of course.]]
** Surefire is ''ComicBook/{{Starfire}}'', but with Miss Martian's skintone and a sexier version of her costume.
** Astonishing Man is the resident SupermanSubstitute with [[Creator/RobLiefeld Liefeldian]] proportions and touches of Prime from ComicBook/TheUltraverse.
** Velocity Vixen is a female version of ''ComicBook/TheFlash'', with Kid Flash's colour scheme and a huge lighting bolt shaped NavelDeepNeckline.
** Dark Sluth is the BatmanParody, sporting little magnifying glasses on his cowl in place of pointy ears. He also appears to be channelling the infamous ComicBook/AllStarBatmanAndRobinTheBoyWonder version of the ''[[Franchise/{{Batman}} caped crusader]]'', spouting out a nonsensical--profanity riddled--sentence, in his first appearance.
** Wonderous War Woman, is the Egyptian themed WonderWomanWannabe of the setting, who battles evil decked out in {{Stripperiffic}} golden armor.
** S.I.T.E is a clear send-up of [[Characters/MarvelComicsAIM A.I.M]], being an organized group of [[MadScientist rogue scientists]] in yellow chemical suits.
* ExtremeLibido: The main heroine [[MsFanservice Awesome Girl]] is described having a "super libido" so between (and sometimes during) crimefighting, she's usually looking for someone to bang, [[MostCommonSuperpower with great success.]]
* FullFrontalAssault: Awesome Girl's MirrorBoss fight with Madam Mischief results in the two tearing their clothes off in the tusslel.
* GeniusBruiser: Though she usually relies on her fists, [[FlyingBrick Awesome Girl]] can adapt quickly when going up against foes as strong as her. During her fight with the Unitcorn she flies to evade his charging attacks and strikes when he leaves himself vulnerable. Later in her scuffle with 'Hero Babe For Hire", Throwdown, Awesome Girl uses her own power against her by [[GoingToGiveItMoreEnergy hitting Throwdown so fast she builds up too much energy]] and explodes, [[NonFatalExplosions dazing her.]]
* HiddenDepths: Unitcorn can be seen reading Literature/OneHundredYearsOfSolitude in his cell when his girlfriend has Madam Mischief break him out.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: After having sex with Astonishing Man, Awesome Girl in a rare moment of vulnerability, asks if she was better then [[TheRival Scarlett Sorceress]], and becomes dour when he reminds her that he "doesn't play favorites", implying Awesome Girl isn't entirely as self-assured as she presents herself to be.
* LogicalWeakness:
** Krushya's skin may be impenetrable, but her tongue isn't, which allows Latex Scorpion to knock her out with a precise hit with one of her throwing stingers.
** Throwdown's powers allow her to get stronger with every impact she takes, but if she's struck many times in quick succession without being able to discharge the energy she's absorbed: Boom.
* MostCommonSuperpower: Pretty much every superhero and villain in Wonderberg is gorgeous and stacked, with Awesome Girl, the main heroine, having a very [[BuxomBeautyStandard large bust]] to match her might.
* MotorMouth:
** Thunder Bunny whenever she geeks out.
** Velocity Vixen, due to being TheSpeedster, has to remind herself to slow down to be understood.
* MotiveRant: Unaware that Terry Stork and Industrial Man are one in the same, [[https://superrivals.com/comic/super-rivals-7-page-34/ Iron Mangeler rants to the armoured superhero during their fight]] that he blames Terry for ruining his reputation [[UnreliableNarrator claiming]] he was jealous of his genius and will thus ruin Stork in return.
* MrFanservice: Astonishing Man is one in-universe, with almost every female member of the Justice Buddies having a crush on him.
* MsFanservice: From the muscular [[AmazonianBeauty Barbarianne]] to the voluptuous [[BuxomBeautyStandard Awesome Girl]], there are all kinds of ladies to love in Wonderburgh.
* NotDistractedByTheSexy:
** Cindi becomes so distraught when she thinks Awesome Girl tricked her she mopes in her room unable to pay attention to the porno she has playing on her laptop.
** A computer tech guy named Bryon is [[CluelessChickMagnet oblivious]] to the suggestions of an attractive female client in a loose dressing gown when she offers to "repay" him for his help in her bedroom, leaving her to grumble how he "[[LampshadeHanging couldn't take a hint]] if it hit him" before Awesome Girl and Thunder Bunny crash through her apartment.
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Thunder Bunny delivers a [[https://superrivals.com/comic/super-rivals-7-page-29/ pretty brutal one against Madam Mischief]] for her deceptions and crimes, and just generally being a bad person. Awesome Girl manages to talk her down before she accidentally kills her.
* OutWithABang: Madam Mischief executes a security guard after having sex with him while [[KillAndReplace disguised]] as a female guard he had a thing for.
* PhlebotinumOverdose: The reason why everyone thought Madam Mischief was done for. She absorbed the powers of the superheroine, Ms Universal, only to be seemingly overwhelmed by the power and [[NoBodyLeftBehind vanish]] in a burst of light.
* PrisonRape: Avoided at the start of the comic when Latex Scorpion fights off sexual extortion from two female prisoner's while serving a sentance in [[ExtranormalPrison the Moustrap]]. During the scuffle however she accidentally breaks one of their PowerNullifier's, fortunately Awesome Girl [[BigDamnHeroes arrives]] to break up the altercation before things can get more violent.
* PsychoLesbian: Played straight with [[PracticallyJoker Borderline Brenda]], a violent criminal in a physical relationship with Latex Scorpion.
* PowerPerversionPotential: Thunder Bunny works part time as a sex-worker and it apparently costs extra to have sex with her clients while floating above her bed. She mentions she sometimes [[TheDitz forgets]] to charge for her services.
* ReallyGetsAround: Awesome Girl really loves the sideways tango. She supposedly has a "super sex drive".
* ReformedButNotTamed: Latex Scorpion is making a legitimate effort to comply with the reform program, but she still has a rebellious, ruthless streak.
* ReportsOfMyDeathWereGreatlyExaggerated: Madam Mischief's appearance is a shock to heroes and villlians alike, as she was assumed to have died two years prior. Later while fighting Awesome Girl she reveals that she was hired by S.I.T.E. to steal Ms Universals powers but instead [[SexForServices duped]] another shapeshifter, a rookie villain named Morph-Boy, into committing the crime instead, with the promise he could reveal himself afterwards. Instead Morph-Boy was overwhelmed and destroyed by the power while she made off with the payment, and has only returned because she's since burned through it and needs cash again.
* RightHandVersusLeftHand: To contain a rampaging Krushya, Terry asks Awesome Girl and Latex Scorpion to handle her, but wanting some insurance as well, he also pays Throwdown and Iron Shadow to take her on. This results in both duo's [[HeadbuttingHeroes battling each other]] about as much as Krushya, forcing Terry to show up in person as Industrial Man to help subdue her, and once she's down, prevent the four remaining ladies from fighting any further.
* SceneryCensor: Much of the nudity was covered up by the word balloons until near the end of Issue 6 when the artist announced that, apart from explicit content, the comic would would be uncensored from then on.
* SecretIdentity: Awesome Girl, under the name [[https://www.deviantart.com/artbrojohn/art/Secret-Identities-812057427 Becky Barns]] works as an editor for a trashy tabloid, that she [[InsistentTerminology insists]] on referring to as a newspaper, when she's not in costume.
* {{Sexposition}}:
** When Cindi is introduced, she's telling a client how she was a Junior Justice Buddy who was put in reserve after a blunder whilst they're having sex. He indifferently comments she's told him all this before.
** Astonishing Man, Awesome Girl and Thunder Bunny, go over Madam Mischief's supposed demise and share theory's on how she might of survived, as well as what she might currently be up to, all while they're having a threesome.
* ShapeshiftingSeducer: Madam Mischief successfully infiltrates the supervillain prison by taking the form of a lady prison guard and having sex with another guard who was interested in her, before [[BoomHeadshot disposing]] of him as well.
* SmugSuper: Though a genuinely a heroic person, Awesome Girl is also a [[StatuesqueStunner tall]], beautiful, [[EveryoneLovesBlondes blonde]], FlyingBrick, so she naturally has an overabundance of confidence as well.
* StatuesqueStunner: Awesome Girl is quite tall, standing over several other [[https://superrivals.com/comic/super-rivals-6-page-7/ heroes]], and quite stunning.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: It doesn't matter if you're a villain or a hero, in Wonderburgh everybody wears very revealing outfits, especially the women.
* SuperTeam: The Super Justice Buddies are Wonderburgh's main super hero team, though they're not without some internal drama.
* TakeThatKiss: While in the middle of their grapple, Madam Mischief takes the opportunity to kiss Awesome Girl, [[ScrewYourself still transformed as her]], taunting Awesome Girl that she could just pull a KillAndReplace, and take her form permanently.
-->'''Madam Mischief''': I love this body. [[LustObject I can see why everyone wants to screw you.]]
* TheManBehindTheMan: Issue 6 ends with the identity of Madam Mischief's benefactor being revealed to the reader to be a Nemesis of Terry Stork's, named Iron Mangler.
* ThreeWaySex:
** Latex Scorpion walks in on Awesome Girl during a bout of "thank you" sex with two rescued hostages when she tries to tell her the villain behind the situation is escaping. [[CoitusUninterruptus Unfased by this]] Awesome Girl just extends the offer to Latex to join in, but only get's a single digit reply.
** Awesome Girl and Thunder Bunny have sex with [[SupermanSubstitute Astonishing Man]] while trying to figure out how Madam Mischief might have faked her death. Though Thunder Bunny is a bit too enamored with his GagPenis to really contribute to the discussion.
* TinTyrant: Terry Stork's nemesis [[https://superrivals.com/comic/super-rivals-6-page-31/ Iron Mangeler]] is covered black spiky RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver, PowerArmor.
