Air Of Mystery: Is it true that Lincoln didn't care about black people wasn't all that fussed about letting black people vote?
Jason: By the end of the war he wanted to give the vote to black soldiers and educated blacks. Considering women couldn't vote back then and few if any had any problems with the electoral college at the time that's pretty enlightened.
Praetyre: Personally, I think this article should focus on postwar views of the man than fringe theories about his sexual proclivities.
