Makoryumatic: Isn't this just Tenchi Solution? Or: Wouldn't it be better to redirect this to Tenchi Solution, since they describe exactly the same thing and the latter is established as a named trope?
J Chance: Tenchi Solution has drifted into this, but initially seemed to mean any "no choice" decision, whether it's poly or just never taking the Relationship Upgrade with any contender. Thinking that, now that we have this page, we need to move a lot of examples from there to here and rewrite it to be clearer.
