Anonymous: Is it just me or is the RPG section just way, way too long?
It seems like you could sum up all of Wo D with just the Sam Haight bit (and the note that that's not allowed anymore), and the bit on D&D 3e templates could be cut down to (paraphrased), "There are many template (examples here) and they can all be mixed and matched semi-freely, and often are by wannabe power gamers."
15 bajillion examples of "In my game..." aren't really necessary.
And why does the Skitty/Wailord pic have to be so ridiculously cute?
The picture of the character's parentage from "Chainmail Bikini" didn't seem all that squicky to me...strange, but not squick.
Peteman: Can someone point me to the origin of the Order Of The Stick example, or was it in Dragon Magazine?
Red Shoe: For the fifteen millionth time, "Different species means by definition that they can't interbreed" is only one of the many definitions of the term used in biology, and not one of the more useful ones. And it's purely descriptive, not prescriptive. You can't look at two critters, see that they are different species, and declare them unable to breed; instead, you have to look at whether or not they can breed, and if so, conclude that, despite the fact that they look nothing alike, they are techically the same species.
Trouble Panic: Hm, the first breeding center is on Route 34. How about that.
Omega Blade: Sounds more like a Reverse Funny Aneurysm to me. Did 4Chan even exist when breeding became a staple of the Pokemon games? It's pretty amazing either way.
