This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

- Lost And Found is a page with content but apparently locked; I have already copied its content to Lost and Found (which needs to be locked) to make it visible, so someone must delete the content from Lost And Found. (Edit Link)

Per this thread, Fetish Fuel should be rewritten to:
The term is not limited strictly to what your dictionary would define as a fetish, but it excludes Explicit Content. It stands in pretty well for the word 'fixation', actually. Both of these sentences mean the same thing:
- "He has a Light Saber fixation."
- "Light Sabers are his fetish fuel."
Fetish Fuel Station Attendant is an internal subtrope of this. They are Audience Reactions, whose In-Universe and invoked forms are called Fetish and Fanservice respectively.
Please put examples that don't belong in Fetish or Fanservice on the Fetish Fuel Wiki.*

If you want the mods to add an example, you need to write the example yourself. Just format it in your post here exactly as you would if you were putting it on the page. (And remember that Weblinks Are Not Examples.)
I have a question about the "No YMMV on creators" policy, regarding [adult swim].
Even though it's on the Creator Namespace, it's a programming block with unique content, not unlike Toonami. As such, it's as much a page about a work as it is about a "creator", and as such, should be able to have subjectives relating to it.
On this basis, can the YMMV page be restored? If not, can I have an explanation as to why this page has to be cut?

We actually talked this over and decided it among tne staff. The Cut Master himself went ahead and cut it. It's too much of a namespace goof.

Why? It's presumably locked because it was cut because we don't want to leave mainspace redirects around after tropes are moved to a namespace unless there's sufficient inbounds to justify it. In this case, there are only two.
