• Beware the Nice Ones: Is generally quite sweet-natured but when something happens that she doesn't like then everyone knows about it.

• Distress Ball: Erlina's underexposure to magic as a result of living on Earth means Lucinda has to escort her through Bad Schwartz to get help from Johann. This ends with Erlina living with Rosie.
• Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Erlina may have the occasional tantrum or show of impatience to Lucinda but she's a really nice girl who likes helping out.

• O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Erlina can be unabashedly blunt with people but on the rare occasion she has a tantrum something has happened which she really doesn't like.

• The Leader: of Rent-A-Legend and, therefore, the entire plot. She does go out on to the field herself occasionally but mostly operates the reception from behind animus lines.
• Overly Long Name: Saharaleia Phedoria Cornelia Stollenheim.
• Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Shoots a lot of daggers. However, as shown when she relents, there is care in there but not particularly maternal. Borders on Tsundere at times when she gets angry.

• Sheltered Aristocrat: He used to be absolutely terrified of anyone without vampire fangs and even seemed weary of his own family, apart from mum Lydia who is a human. Living with Tyrian and his court is drawing him out of his shell.

Victor's mum. Overprotective.

• Boomerang Bigot: Regards humans with almost as much hate as her dead husband Heirich. This isn't accounting for the fact that she herself is one.
• Hypocritical Humor: "Humans are scum, sweetheart. That's why I married a vampire."
• My Beloved Smother: Keeps a firm grip over her son and refuses to let him experience the outside world if she has her way. He somehow escapes from this and goes to live with his cool uncle Tyrian.
