There are certain moments that feel so right, where something happens that feels so good and so appropriate in the story, that you can't help but be moved by it. These are those moments.

 +10 (yeas:10 nays:0) There's a better one. In the Near/Mello arc, Soichiro Yagami tells his wife that he'll let her divorce him due to all the trouble his involvement with the Kira case has brought the family. She refuses, telling him that she'll always stand by him, no matter how bad things get.

+4 (yeas:5 nays:1) Well, there's the bit in the film where Chief Yagami puts a blanket around L's shoulders. That's as close as the series ever comes I think.

Boy/Near seeing Maki cry. He has no idea why she is sad, but apparently realizes she must have gone through something devastating. He feels so bad for her that he starts crying too.
Apparently, movie-continuity Near is much sweeter and far more empathetic than his Manga/Anime counterpart.
