03x14, "Damaged": Hotch and Reid enter an interrogation room with serial killer Chester Hardwick for an eleventh hour interview before Hardwick's execution. The door is locked from the outside, Hardwick is unrestrained, our heroes are unarmed, and, as Hardwick explains to them, the guard won't be back to open the door for at least thirteen minutes. Reid, fragile-looking and doe-eyed as ever, comprehends, eyes widening in fear.

Hardwick announces that his true motive for inviting them wasn't to give them information, but to kill them. Messily. Quickly. With his bare hands. As Hotchner strips off his coat and prepares to fight for their lives, Hardwick laughs, advancing…

…and Reid proceeds to stop him in his tracks with a quarter of an hour of dazzling psychoanalytic BS.

Thirteen minutes and several statistics later, the door opens and the prison staff move to re-shackle an unresisting Hardwick. There follows this exchange:

Slam. Dunk.

02x15, "Revelations": When a captive Reid thoroughly insults Hotch's character over live camera feed, even using a Bible verse to lay out judgment against Hotch for his character flaws, Hotch calmly walks into another room and digs out a Bible to hunt down the verse.

When the others come in, thinking he might be shook up, he persuades them all to insult him, calling up his worst attributes - none of which match Reid's accusation, which was actually part of a spur-of-the-moment coded message to relay information about his whereabouts.

It may not be the best Hotch has ever been, but just think about being able to freely insult yourself - truthfully - and call upon your teammates to insult you as well, just to clear their heads and get them thinking straight again.

02x15, "Revelations" again: The team finally realize that Reid, while constantly being beaten, injected with drugs, and Mind Raped by Tobias's alternate personalities all while restrained by being tied to a chair, has been dropping elaborate hints to his location.

04x08, "Masterpiece": The unsub is Out Gambitted by easy qualifier for the heroic equivalent of a Magnificent Bastard David Rossi.

01x06, "L.D.S.K.": Boom Headshot.

02x12, "Profiler, Profiled": Morgan faces Carl Buford alone in a Not Afraid Of You Anymore confrontation until the latter as good as admits to his crimes. The police, by the way, are hiding in the back.

02x10, "Lessons Learned": Gideon manages to trick the detained unsub into completely giving himself away in a Hannibal Lecture that he breaks into when he thinks the bombing he'd set up has already taken place by throwing off his sense of time. The "Masterpiece" moment takes after it.
