The SECOND Ever TVTropes ISOT Mapgame!!

(Think of this as a reboot of sorts of this thread, that being the first mapgame. This forum game was made specifically because the first one got pretty messy and also miserably inactive. This will aim to be more organized. Of course you can still post in the first, if you happen to prefer it over this.)

This game takes place in our dear universe, only there has yet to be any life for us to work with in sight; of course, we'll start things off with whatever might be going on at Earth. You'll be able to place anything from reality or fiction anywhere you like, and also make events and changes happen.

If you need to catch up on anything, you can do so in this document.

Year 0: As said before, the very Earth we have over here is nothing but a barren land. Now to wait for our first year to come along, so life can be breathed into here...

Year 1: Humans start to form in this new land, as they became the dominant species of this new land.

Year 2: Another species, known as the Waddle Dees, mysteriously arrive on the planet. They then built a small, rudimentary settlement.

Year 3: God gifts the humans Alice and Bob with fire to gift to the rest of humanity

Year 4: Eventually, merfolk started to form the oceans, as they become the dominant species underwater just like humans became the dominant species above water.

Year 5: Um, all the other humans are setting each other on fire after they learned how to make fires themselves. Apparently they have big pyromanic tendencies. Alice and Bob, after declaring themselves as leaders of a particular tribe, have set in laws restricting fire. They're hoping to spread these laws to other tribes.

Year 6: A belief system is formed around God... Who's a completely average guy unfortunate enough to somehow pull dozens of people into thinking he's all powerful without his own volition! What, did you think we were ACTUALLY going to have a deity?

Year 7: To be fair, God was the first guy to discover fire and taught how set things ablaze to Alice and Bob, so no wonder people revere him for introducing something so life changing. Now that very couple is seeking God to ask Him advice on how to deal with the pyromanics.

Year 8: THE STROGG ARE INVADING!!

Can you expand on who the STROGG are please? There's not a lot of detail to work with them.

Year 9: Humanity begins raging war with the STROGG, mysterious alien invaders, using sticks, stones and of course, flames, to fight them.

Year 10: Waddle Dees begin to interact with the first humans. They manage to form a peaceful relationship.

Year 11: Humans set fire to the forest the Scrogg set up as their base of operation setting back the Scrogg's invasion a bit. Luckily, the fire didn't get out of hand this time...

Year 12: The Waddle Dees assist humanity with fighting off the STROGG. From the humans, the Waddle Dees learned how to make fires but unlike most of humanity, the Waddle Dees aren't pyromanics. At most they use fire to cook their food, as light sources and inflame their spears' tips to make them more deadly in battle.

Year 13: Meanwhile, the merfolk are granted the ability to walk on land when they are dry but when they are wet, they shall transform back into merfolk. From there, the merfolk became allies with the humans. The merfolk also fight with water instead of fire.

Year 14: Certain fully aquatic sea turtles with the merfolk gene find out that they transform into creatures called "Koopa Troopas" on land, at the same time mushrooms evolve into sentient creatures called Goombas.

Year 15: A Waddle Dee stumbles on the ground while running and rolls downward on a slope. This event is witnessed by human children. Not too long after, humans create the first wheels. They also create simple villages.

Year 15.2: The invention of wheels allows for things to progress faster and have more happen in a single year

Year 15.3: The Koopas have invented the first automobiles; It's very rudimentary but hey they can drive now. The Koopas then began go-karting, which eventually led to the first ever racing tournament.

Year 16: Waddle Dees have begin to spread outside the continent, settling on new places.

Year 16.1: Conveniently enough, that also makes them the first to leave the continent, even before the humans!

Year 16.2: Waddle Dees encounter other species, such as the small, winged fairies, the lankier elves, the small, plentiful slimes, and other creatures. The Waddle Dees also taught humans how to make sailboats.

Year 17: Some of the aquatic turtles with the mermaid gene have further mutations allowing them to keep their underwater state while out of water turning them into a new species known as "Squirtles".

Year 17.2. Four of the mutated turtles migrate to the sewers, where they come across a rat who agrees to teach them the art of ninjitsu

Year 17.3: The Squirtle Squad is formed by the four squirtles, effectively becoming the first team of heroes, who stop crimes along the continent.

Year 17.4: God gifts the world with how to make a great new invention: The Pencil

Unfortunately paper does not exist yet so they're being forced to write on leaves. It doesn't usually go too well.
