Anyone else getting a bit sick of chimpanzees being the main ape character?
The titles are getting increasingly more silly.

I hope one day there's an orangutan Villain Protagonist (if not outright Dr. Zaius himself).
It's been 3000 years…I enjoyed the trilogy about Caesar and look forward to more Planet of the Apes, being a huge sucker for the franchise. I like how much the world is starting to resemble the original film series, while also being more vibrant than seen previously.
There are two reasons I like Marvel's comics from the 70's so much, one being that the world is allowed to be so much crazier than seen on film. The mutants seen in the comic are freakier and more diverse, with irradiated monster-versions of common animals and societies ruled by brains in jars. The word "diversity" also applies to the second reason that I love the comic-version of the world, namely that there are multiple ape societies, which can be very different from each other. My personal favourite are the maritime apes, who live in huge city-ships and look like Elizabethan aristocracy. The societies are also different in how they treat humans, with some having much more egalitarian cross-species relations, though seldom with complete equality. So while I love the original film series and welcome the return to familiar aesthetics, my love for the comics makes me excited about this new tyrannical ape society, which from brief glimpses has a bit of a sword & sorcery vibe to it.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Sword of the Blood of the Wolf Apes.
Resurrection of the Planet of the Apes
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationThird Cousin of the Planet of the Apes.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. Why are you guys making parody titles?

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Oh, ok I'll try.
The Rampaging of Planet of the Apes.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Escape from the Conquest of the Battle Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
But in all seriousness, this run of movies is fascinating to me. Seeing the setting gradually become more and more like the original film is just amazing.
The main difference being that the previous titles followed human characters who ended up in the ape dominated world. I think this is the first classic style planet of the apes story where apes are the focal characters.
Yeah, here there’s no time travel or any bullshit like that.
Rise does imply the astronauts did time travel, as seen on a newspaper claiming they’re missing. They just haven’t arrived in the future yet.
Assuming this is the first in a new trilogy, I do wonder if some version of Taylor is going to factor into this at all, or if his character will end up sort of composited into Cornelius? Because that's what it kind of feels like.
On the other hand, that easter egg in Rise about the missing astronauts seemed to hint that something involving them was planned. Non-0% chance it gets quietly ignored, buuut they seem to be going all-in on portraying developed ape society, so who knows what kind of stuff from the original movies will show up. Hell, maybe we'll see psychic mutants.

Planet of the Apes: Resurrection of Koba
The astronaut Easter egg will almost definitely come up. Maybe not in this movie but in one of the sequels
Kinda late but if they ever decide on a series, a good title would be Adventures on The Planet of The Apes.

You think we'll ever finish with say battle for the planet of the apes remake. And apes and humanity living side by side.
As an optimistic ending
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."This is apparently releasing the same day as The Garfield Movie and and at least one person on Twitter is calling to make it the next Barbenheimer.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I feel like Dawn was already a loose remake of Battle. Same for Rise and Conquest.
I don't know if the Garfield Movie and the Planet of the Apes movie is going to be the next Barbieheimer. Like, they tried that with PAW Patrol and Saw, but that didn't work out.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!The second trailer is up and running.
It's been 3000 years…
A teaser trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes has just been released, following Caesar's son Cornelius after the events of War for the Planet of the Apes:
Here's an early plot synopsis from Hollywood Reporter:
In this setting, one ape leader begins to enslave other groups to find human technology, while another ape, who watched his clan be taken, embarks on a journey to find freedom. A young human woman becomes key to the latter’s quest, although she has plans of her own.
