Kory: i will need to do some more testing to see if the 500KB should be lowered even more but either way everyone can relax because the database will not crash or implode in anyway due to page size so splitting pages isn't a huge priority and is just more of a suggestion. For pages that actually load slow, splitting the pages will help slower internet users navigate these pages better.
It looks like pages over 500,000 characters (html formatted, that is) are crashing the server when someone tries to edit them. programmer's whine
They need to be fixed, anyway. Way too big for one page. They need to be broken up into subpages of a reasonable size.
I'm trying to get better about communicating before big changes, so we'll let this one run for a while before taking the action. The server crashes do come under the heading of 'urgent', though.

(x6) I vote for splitting off the Five Elders instead of Impel Down. They're at around 98.6k compared to Impel Down's 62.1k, and they're more likely to grow larger in size compared to Impel Down as well.

It doesn't look close to needing a split right now (the whole thing is fewer than 17000 characters). It can however benefit from sections being changed to folders.

Awesome/Bleach is triggering a warning. I suggest that the Thousand Year Blood War arc folder be made into a separate page — while the Soul Society arc folder is about 50% longer, the TYBW is still being animated and is far more likely to grow over the next year.

One Piece: Five Elders has been split from One Piece: World Government. One Piece: Paradise has been brought up before since it triggers the warning but no action has been taken. I propose, instead of splitting off only Alabasta (would leave about 220-225k bytes on the Paradise page), we split off the second part of Paradise (from Long Ring Long Land to Sabaody Archipelago) and name it "Paradise: Later Islands" or some sort of equivalent (new page would be about 140-145k bytes).

For One Piece: Paradise, if you want to edit the redirect pages, click "Related" for the main page, then the redirect link on the redirect box, and then click "Edit" to edit that redirect page. Removing the redirect tag in the editor should un-redirect the page. If it's preferable to split by singular islands instead of group-wise, I'd advise only splitting off Alabasta for now. If the warning is still there after the split, then it should be fine to split off Water 7.
