to that small change.
Everybody loves the me! I’m a great athlete!I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.
I strongly prefer the current. As someone who knows nothing about The Doors, the obvious gap in the line-up and the title "Other Voices" make it clear that the lead singer is missing. I don't like babying the reader.

Agreed; I can understand what the current is trying to convey, even if it’s a bit subtle.
back lolI mean I don't know them but I prefer OP because showing "the face" better highlights the absence.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadAgreed with #6; I think current makes the point clear and it's much funnier without a "before" image.
Keep current
Guys, if we're going to add a Doors album as a "before", I don't know why we wouldn't use the self-titled since it A) literally has Jim Morrison's giant face taking up the left and B) it makes the text go from "The Doors" to "The Doors: Other Voices", which I think is kinda funny in context.
13. While I don't think the Current pic doesn't work, I do like this better for literally showing Morrison looming large over the band and them trying to stand on their own without him (and kinda failing). Although LA Woman and Other Voices were released closer to each other, I think 13/The Self Titled better shows off that Morrison was The Face.

I join 6 in voting to keep the current. It works fine on its own.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I agree that 13 is the most clear.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.to 13, but I’m also fine with current given what Murloc said.

"As long as I have my comrades with me, I can do anything!" (She/Her) (Current Focus: Cleaning Hell Is That Noise misuse)Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.
The current image by itself relies on people recognizing Jim Morrison of The Doors well enough to tell he's not there. I think it can be modified to include L.A. Woman, released just six months before Other Voices, to make it clearer that the band used to have a fourth member, while the title of Other Voices already indicates that the missing member was the singer.
