Taglines are important when it comes to promoting a work. They must be carefully constructed by talented members of the production crew/advertising agency to get potential audiences interested in their product. Preferably, taglines are concise, memorable, and/or accurately sum up the themes/premise of a work.
But what if they weren't?
That's where this Forum Game comes in. The way it works is that one troper lists a work, and the next troper comes up with a terrible tagline for it. Said tagline can be overly cheesy and cliched, confusing, lengthy, or even down-right deceptive. Afterwards, they list a work for the next troper to tackle, and so on.
I'll start us off with an old classic:
