General V-Tuber thread

Reimu's 3D is today, and damn she got a lot of guests from other companies, including Nerissa and Calli from hololive

Other guests include Noa from VSPO, Meica from idol ES, and Astel from holostars JP.

Is this like, normal or is it the exception?

...Well, alright then. I believe the "companies told not to collab with Dokibird" theory now. Clearly the Nijisanji working relationship with Hololive is still there, and I very much doubt it would be if they showed to much support for Doki. Yet at the same time, I can't help but think a lot of Holomembers (at least EN) would like to. But maybe that's just wishful thinking from me anyway.

Was anything wrong with Petra and Rosemi's? I thought Millie and Enna's were quite good.

Yeah, I don't think they can openly show support to her. That said, there was a collab between Doki and two Holostar members (Team Snakebite, was it?) under their indie personas, so I think it's not totally under the table. They just can't use their Holo identities.

@diddyknux most of the 3d debuts that kurosanji has shown were pre-recorded so the relationship between them is still up in the air.

Hmm, an Idol ES member being a guest means Reimu's 3D is not pre-recorded, unlike everyone else this year before her. (Since Idol ES just debuted....not even a week ago, isn't it?)

That's what happen when you are an indie, I guess. You get to stream games you otherwise wouldn't be able to stream due to company mandate.

Pre-recorded is still a possibility because Meica is the only Idol ES member to be carrying over her indie persona into Idol (think more like the original Phase Invaders, Lumi and Yuri, who carried over their Cyber Live personas wholesale).

Hmm, I'm not watching the stream, but did either Reimu or Meica ever mention the words "Idol ES"?

If neither of them ever mentioned about it, then yeah, it could be pre-recorded from before Idol ES time, before the Selen incident even.

Meica is already part of Idol ES by the time this stream aired, so if the stream is not pre-recorded, I think her introduction would have to include "from Idol ES". If her introduction doesn't include it, then that's kinda....sus.

Even with all those guests Reimu had the newest lowest viewed 3D debut yet. She was the least popular Ethyria and kind of shoved to the background even before this shitstorm, but still, damn.

Or three talents, rather, as part of Encore, a music-focused group. The teased talent is Enya Ignis, who is a rebrand of an existing talent. The other two will join with their current identities. They're all debuting on May 11 :o

I completely forgot that Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is collabing with VShojo for the game's 1.5 anniversary (global release). This is one of 5 song covers released so far, along with Hime ("Hold you tight"), Ironmouse ("Headless Angel"), Mel ("BOOMS DAY") and Zen ("We're Never Giving Up").

Speaking of Zentreya, she's set to participate in the Sajam Slam 2 Tekken 8 streamer tournament. Dokibird and Gumiho also received invites.
