Inaki's face there. Dude is reveling in this.
As he should be, because that... was glorious. Oh, they are doing Little Garden, and they are reveling in it.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...Super spoiler link. According to this article from What's On Netflix, casting recalls confirmed a few roles to expect including the wanted ethnicities.
A Hispanic or Latin Robin? That is an interesting direction since Oda said she's Russian. No recalls on Ace or Crocodile so maybe they found definitive actors already.

Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Hmm. Yeah, that's interesting. I always pictured Robin as North Asian, specifically, as far as Russia goes. Having the casting call for her be Hispanic is definitely a different direction. Though I'm glad to see North African casting for Vivi.
A large group in the fandom is pretty attatched to Robins tanned design in the pre-timeskip anime. Because of that did I kinda expect that they would not cast a white actress for her.
Though interesting that they went for latina specifically, maybe her using a bunch of Spanish in her attack names (mixed with French) influenced that choice.
The other casting calls are pretty much exatly what one would expect though. I'm pretty confident they will find great fits for everyone.

They could have gone with South Asian to preserve the anime tan. And yeah, maybe it is just that she uses Spanish in her attack names?

Find it weird Vivi asked to be Middle East/North african or South Asia because those varyingly large gaps in ethnic appearance.

Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Well I for one am for it. Oughta make things interesting, I should say. Oda's got an interesting pivoting style to him. Oda also had Luffy in mind as Brazillian, but hey, Iñaki would up proving to be such a wonderful fit that it would appear he is flexible. As long as the first priority is nailing these characters, I'm confident they'll have this in the bag.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...I wonder if Robin will have blue or brown eyes. She has blue eyes in the Toei anime, but always had brown eyes in the manga.
So, we know the original plan in Season 1 was to give Hatchi a short scene where he bursts out of Arlong Park while they're fighting, fight Zoro and then lose, but they couldn't even give him that much screentime because his 6 arms would be too expensive.
I've heard suggestions for how to re-introduce Hatchi in season 2, since he ends up being pretty important in Sabaody and Fishman Island, but my favorite suggestion is to have him replace the Fishman fishmonger in Loguetown who sells Sanji the Elephant Bluefin Tuna. Have a scene where he mentions being part of Arlong's crew until he left a couple years ago, and Sanji gets mad at him for Nami's sake but he apologizes and says he left because he was bothered by the way they treated Nami. Something like that. And having Hatchi be a fishmonger would line up somewhat with his later job as a traveling takoyaki vendor.
I maybe thought Kuroobi would replace Hatchi’s place in Sabaody. Different dynamic but same role

Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.I could see that, but a big part of Hatchi's appeal is his buffoonishness, and I don't see Kuroobi capturing that same energy. Then again, it would be interesting to see Kuroobi in Sabaody, scared shitless of the Celestial Dragons and having fun in an amusement park.

It's REALLY sad that they didnt feature Hatchi the whole Nami forgiving him was such a great angle that will be sadly missing from the show, and this would be the start of the character development that would lead Nami to forgiving Jinbe.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I always though that Robin really looked like Mayim Bialik, though she might be too old for the role now- though Robin's one character they could probably get away with aging up a bit
The hint is Little Garden and Mr. 3, for the record. Which is really nice.
