Are there any fanfics that you prefer to the source material?
I don't read fanfiction.
- It just doesn't interest me that much; original stories are generally more compelling to me.
- I tend to be turned off by the tendency of a lot of fics to insert fanspeak terms into their stories in a way that feels distracting and unnatural (e.g., characters referring to the ASoIaF setting as "Planetos" in-universe, or Pokémon characters going, "Oh my Arceus!").
- I have a long history of not involving myself in fandoms in general (e.g., mainly to avoid drama and toxicity) and therefore don't often venture into fanfic sites in the first place.

Are there any specific video game levels or areas that you wish you could visit in real life?
Clown Man's stage in Mega Man 8 and Bounce Man's stage in Mega Man 11. Both look like really fun amusement parks. I love the cutesy toy aesthetic of Clown Man's stage, and the fitness theme of Bounce Man's stage.
Michael Ansara, of course. Although, I haven't heard most of his other actors, and the ones I have heard seem to be emulating Ansara's performance.

Racking my brain over this question because I'm splitting hairs over "character" — that is, is the thing just a scary monster or has genuine personality?
Give me a moment... Earl Griffin Lyons from Girls' Frontline. He's essentially nothing more than a dapper British bureaucrat; one who holds a high position on an incredibly powerful organization, has eyes and ears everywhere through the spy network he controls, carries enough personal influence to manipulate almost everyone he meets, and most damningly, is willing to work with a known terrorist/human rights abuser simply to make his organization (and by extension himself) stronger.
Compared to the myriads of killer robots, horrifically mutated zombies, and cyborg cultists that populate the setting, he doesn't seem like much, but therein lies his horror: Griffin is mundane. There are many people in our own world who did many thing he does and get away with it. Not only dictators, but currently-sitting officials who turn a blind eye on people being slaughtered simply because it's more convenient. That they never suffer significant consequences despite their crimes is frankly maddening, enough to make me lose hope for the future — which is among my greatest fears.
