I don't blame you. It's hard not to be hesitant when some of the recent MCU stories have made choices that have the potential to harm one's enjoyment of these characters in prior installments (like Secret Invasion's handling of Fury, or the way Fisk in Echo is a big downgrade from how he's portrayed in Daredevil). I want to have faith in the new writing team.
The cold never bothered me anywayExpect a March 2025 airdate for the first part of Daredevil: Born Again, just a month shy of the tenth anniversary of season 1's release.
Also, a new logo for the show was just unveiled at the Disney Upfront panel. I really love this visual of the letters looming over the Manhattan skyline a lot more than what they were previously using.

The cold never bothered me anywayMight be a good idea to rename the thread? Daredevil on Netflix/Disney+? Something like that?
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Aren't all Defenders show canon now to MCU? Therefore, this ought to be called the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Daredevil thread.
Let’s go with that. (Sorry. I misread.)

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. So it will come out 10 years after the original Season 1. Fitting.

You and I remember Budapest very differentlyMan, I still remember staying up all night binging the entire season until like 6am. Ah, the days when I was still young enough to do that.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.I remember when it came out and I was like "Uh, okay? Not really that interested in a Daredevil show but I heard Kingpin will be in it, so I guess I'll give the first episode a watch and see if this is boring or not."
The first episode hooked me. The second episode made me realize it was the best piece of live-action superhero media of all time.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I was looking forward for it right from the beginning. This was at the height of my MCU hype. Back then, I had the foolish hope that the Netflix shows were going to tie into Civil War

Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...To be honest, the first three seasons largely hold up a lot more than most of the recent Disney+ shows.
Things that Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have said in interviews convince me that post-overhaul, DDBA should be closer to a season 4 of the old show than a new show that's only connected in broad strokes to the original seasons.
I actually recently created my own backstory to fill in the gaps in Fisk's background between when he killed his father and the start of season 1, based on things we see in Daredevil, Hawkeye and Echo. And one thing that I concluded is that Francis and the other bodyguards Fisk uses in season 1 were employed by Bishop Security. And that SAC Hattley played a role in Rigoletto's downfall. And what Fisk did to the Kitchen Irish. And a lot of other things.
The cold never bothered me anyway
Zurer is back? Fuck yeah, I am so glad.
