I'll get back to the splitting of the Police Quest. Don't wanna be seen as holding it off.
I'm going to make a start on a possible split for ComicBook.Red Sonja - at the moment it's covering at least three series of the original Marvel Comics (and Marvel Universe) version, plus the Dynamite Comics sequels, legacy character and reboot.
It feels like splitting by publisher and then by series may make sense, as there are 48 years of comics in there...

Crossposting from the Yogscast Cleanup thread to see if anyone here has thoughts since it involves splitting a merged work page (Yogscast Minecraft Series):
The merged page can be kept as both an index and a holder for tropes related to all the series, things like the adventure/PVP maps and advent calendars, and smaller series.
Proposed split for the rest:
- The Apprentice (Yogscast)
- Blackrock Chronicle
- Blood and Chaos (Yogscast)
- Cornerstone
- Duncan's Laboratory
- Feed the World - Also includes Sjin's Farm
- Hole Diggers
- Jaffa Factory
- Magic Police - Also includes Cheat Police
- MoonQuest - Also includes Galacticraft
- Shadow of Israphel
- Sips Co
- Voltz (Yogscast)
- Whale Lords
- Yogs Labs - Also includes mod spotlights

LP Deprecation Cleanup | Ask me about SMPLiveWorking on splitting up the Police Quest stuff.
Just a note. The game article for Police Quest Open Season is named Police Quest 4: Open Season to put the game in the series since it's treated as a continuation of the Police Quest series after part 3. The PQ 4 naming is found in the MS-DOS if the player quits the game.
It says Thank you for playing Police Quest IV: Open Season. I don't know why Sierra doesn't keep it consistent.
I'll continue the rest tomorrow. If anyone wants to take part in migrating the character page to the respective PQ pages, be my guest.

Did not know about the Police Quest Singular Games.
Damn. Made the split now.
Police Quest 1-4 are now in separate pages.

Mat Pat's Game Theory should be split up into Film Theory and Food Theory.
Edited by randomtroper89 on Nov 9th 2023 at 2:37:34 PM
I agree, wait isn't there like a style theory channel too
Yeah, Style Theory exists now
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessGoing to be splitting the Police Quest character post. Although I gotta check the main page to see if there are tropes that can be applied for the character page itself.
Edited by Ominae on Nov 10th 2023 at 6:53:21 AM
Mat Pat should have a Creator page and the Style Theory example can be moved there until more can be found.
There's the idea of the Altered Beast page and changing it to two articles. One for the original game and the other one on the modernized version of AB.
Forgot to mention that I'm proposing Altered Beast to be under
- Altered Beast (1988) (Arcade and other related ports)
- Altered Beast (2005) (PS 2 version. Revamped story. Japanese name is Project: Altered Beast. This title was used in PAL territories)
Sounds good to me
Macron's notesI'm finally gonna start taking a whack at that damn Yogscast page today Wish me luck figuring out the crosswicks...
LP Deprecation Cleanup | Ask me about SMPLiveGood luck
Thanks. I'll get to it when I can. Seems easier than the Elevator Action page.
Almost done with redirecting Altered Beast stuff to either the 1988 or the 2005 page.
UPDATE: Finally finished.

Partly crossposting from the Disambig thread, as I was checking out the VideoGame.Control video game related pages (because of Alan Wake II being recently released) and noticed that there's a number of collisions under just "Control" in relation to several subpages, so I had suggested disambiguating to "Main.Control" with this:
- Janet Jackson's song album Music.Control as Music.Control 1986.
- The fanfic Fanfic.Control to Fanfic.Control Azumanga Daioh.
- The film Film.Control as Film.Control 2007.
- The video game Control as VideoGame.Control 2019.
I was recommended to post at the History-move request thread, but I wasn't sure if such a big split of those related pages was better suited at the Disambig thread, here, or the history-move thread.
Proposed Elevator Action article splitting:
- Elevator Action 1 (Would put stuff for Elevator Action Deluxe since's an updated release)
- Elevator Action Returns
- Elevator Action EX (Not sure on putting stuff related to Dexter's Laboratory: Robot Rampage)
- Elevator Action: Death Parade
- Elevator Action: Invasion
Not sure on Elevator Action Old & New. The "Old" is basically the first game. "New" is a new story.
Face/Off (the film) and Face/Off (the reality show) are vastly different in scope and plot (one being a thriller, the other being a real-world contest), yet while both have different main pages, they share the same namespaces on pages like Trivia and YMMV. Because of this, the reality show also has the Slash going through the title like the film goes despite generally being written out as two words.
I think we should disambiguate and have the film be Film.Face Off 1997 and the show be Series.Face Off Syfy, and split the pages they share to those new namespaces.

Proposing for the Alone in the Dark page to be split up to the following:
- Alone in the Dark (1992)
- Alone in the Dark 2
- Jack in the Dark
- Alone in the Dark 3
- Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
- Alone in the Dark (2008)
- Alone in the Dark: Illumination
- Alone in the Dark (2023) - Already has own page.
- Grace in the Dark: Prologue

After having brought "Dreamcatcher" to the disambig thread, I noticed that the page for the Stephen King book has a separate list of tropes applying to the film adaptation, with enough tropes for a separate page. I already knew, though, that Film.Dreamcatcher was a redirect to Literature.Dreamcatcher. Even the YMMV and Trivia pages have longer sections for the movie than for the book. Is anyone here familiar enough with the movie to come up with a good enough description to separate it from the book?

I (think I) can start on splitting the Elevator Action page from tomorrow...
Roomies!, It's Walky!, Joyce and Walky! should definitely be split right? The trope list even has folders for each three.
Also, since Roomies should probably have a Comic Strip/ redirect since it started as one.

Just added a folder for WarioWare: Move It! to the Sandbox.Wario Ware Games page, now that it's out
