I hope they've kept the "BABY I WAS BORN TO DESTROY YOU" line.

I'm not sure how to feel about the trailer spoiling that one of Ramona's exes is a girl. Seems like the sort of thing that would go over as a huge surprise to most of the movie-going public.

Is it just me, or are the special effects and choreography better than most "serious" action movies?

Scott Pilgrim is a good comic as is, but Edgar Wright is directing, so the film has to be awesome. And the BANGS and POWS are an awesome diversion from the typical wordless explosions in most action films these days.

You know, this is coming from someone who's only seen the comic previews and covers, but I'll admit I just can't see Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim. Every time I see Scott, he has this "ready to take on the world" look on his face, something this actor just can't seem to pull off.

I just hope Michael Cera is able to detypecast himself and rescue himself from the scrappy heap.

Kind of an odd thought, but the fights remind me of Kung Fu Hustle in having that same kind of "cartoony" feel. Looks interesting.

Meh. Movie looks good, but Cera just doesn't fit the part =/

This movie looks like it's made of awesome. Given that the graphic novel is probably even better, I must hold off on buying it until after I have seen the movie (so that absorbing both is a pleasurable experience, of course).

I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.

The movie looks like it's coming together quite nicely. Michael Cera is still Michael Cera, but at least he seems to be a slightly less helpless-baby-bird-like Michael Cera.

Apparently people like Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarantino were in the test screenings and both were impressed by it.

...fucking time, thinking it's hot shit for moving so slow.

As long as Cera takes even a slight level in badass, I'm good.

They've shown Wallace in this trailer and I'm not sure if the actor fits. His face is too Culkin, if you know what I mean.

But the trailer is great. Looks very faitful to the original, maybe the fights are even more over the top, but that is cool. On the other hand, they're showing mostly the beginning, so it may be different later into story.

Those video games and comic book visual elements are done very, very well. I love especially "getting a life" and "reversal"smile

This looks like this could be a potentially awesome movie.

And then Miachel Cera was Scott Pilgrim and figured out Mr. Pilgrim's character went from "Cheerful Loser" to "Boring Loser".

It seems to be following the comic pretty closely; some of the scenes from the trailer are panel-for-panel the same, down to the camera angle and stuff.

Regardless of how the movie turns out, this trailer is AWESOME. Live up to my expectations, SPvtW! Live up to them!

Everything in that trailer is fantastic, from the panel-to-panel closeness of the shots to the visual sound-effects to the actual sound effects from Zelda and Sonic. Cannot wait.

Kind of cool. Like a comic and video game all in one.

I saw the trailer for this on Electric Playground yesterday and had to do a double take when I heard "Scott Pilgrim"! I've only skimmed the comics, but I've always wanted to read them, so I'm really looking forward to the movie (if it's as loyal to the comics as you guys say it is, it'd be a good gateway to the Pilgrim universe). grin
