Yeah, it's pretty funny that the crowner did go through with a motion to clean up the description, the troper saying they were gonna get onto the rewrite ended up sitting on it for a few months (presumably due to personal stuff), and then just nothing happened. I don't know what the shelf life for these agreed-upon propositions for description updates are, but it sounds to me like it would really have to be because it doesn't sound like it needs to go through TRS due process all over again.
Thanks for playing King's Quest V!Standards for closing TRS threads were lower back then; I don't think we'd stand for closing a thread with a description update still unwritten these days. That being said, while this could just go through the Trope Description Improvement Drive, my cursory glimpse at the TRS thread, especially this post, makes me unsure that the thread actually made clear what the definition was supposed to be "clarified" to, other than a supertrope to other pages (one of which is now a disambig).
In this case, should the trope be disambiguated or something, since little to no work has been done to rework it?

I was just trawling the site and accidentally stumbled across The Finicky One, and found many of the on-page examples there very lacking — many of them are ZCEs that only state the source media and the character's name, or at best say they're contrasted with less finicky characters but not how they themselves are like.
A troper brought it up back in 2016–2017 suggesting for it to be cutlisted and the conclusion was that it would be reworked, but it still hasn't — the description is still very barebones and many of the examples still have little to no context. I've commented out as many ZCEs as I can in my edit just now and am not very sure what to do with this.
