I must confess that I never played this game beyond the tutorial stages, but very, VERY familiar with the fanworks. Well, both the SFW and NSFW ones. Yeah...
This is hilarious. For April Fool's, the global server release a fake ad for the Kaiten Rangers Mecha.
Meanwhile on the Japanese server, Aris does a Let's Play of a Dragon Quest parody game called Millennium Quest.
You can actually play Millennium Quest, btw. Linkie
Also anyone wanna see Vergilius as Arona (and Amiya)? Prepare yourself for the blurse!

Give me cute or give me...something?Hope you all save enough gems for next week event and getting the 2 limited students.
The Halo Sports Festival event starts today. Good luck fellow players.
Halo festival Obstacle race.
PS: Goz is a nightmare to fight.
Just a heads up but Himari will be available to roll in the next banner and she is recommended by most players since one of her skills generates points faster, allowing your students to use their skills quickly.
Lucky, i finally got Himari. And the latest main story sure was a Mood Whiplash, from Aris being the beloved kouhai/little sister of Millenium to the cliffhanger Downer Ending where Aris surrenders herself to President Rio after learning she was made to lead an army of genocidal robots to destroy Kivotos and didn't want to see her friends hurt. :(
So from what I think I see, despite the initial sales pitch, this game's lore is actually full of bleakness and tragedy that makes Girls Frontline blush, or I am overly fixating on the wrong things from reading literally every trope page on this game or just reeling from Mood Whiplash?

Yeah, the game does have some dark moments like Abdyos dealing with a large debt, the Game Development club trying to save Aris from being destroyed or the feud between Trinity, Gehenna and Arius. Nevertheless, good and hope does prevail just like the Global's server recent event where Fuuka and Research Society help save a struggling restaurant but also defeated, publicly exposed and humiliated the greedy food company that's trying to force regular restaurants to close or join their company.
In a related, Blue Archive ended up exposing corruption within the South Korean Government's Gaming Ratings board.
This soundtrack became one of my new favorite ost from this game:
I don't know if it's just me, but Yukari's SD form looks a lot more...rounder than other models.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Great news! The Blue Archive anime will air this April and will be 12 episodes. And it's based on chapter 1 about the Abydos Girls.
Oh man, this thread has been inactive for a while:
While the anime is sadly getting lukewarm responses, the latest event is quite possibly one of the best ones this game ever had.
And yeah, I do agree with some of the comments saying that this truly is what Blue Archive is all about. God, I hope this game another anime eventually, with this kind of art style.

Anime Theme song trailer.
Blue Archive is a tactical RPG Gacha game developed by Korean studios Nexon Games (formerly NAT Games) & MX Studio, and published in Japan by Yostar Games (The publishers of Arknights and internationally by Nexon. Despite being published by Nexon, the game was well received since the Gacha mechanics are fair and the game and story is enjoyable.
I was planning to start a Blue Archive thread for some time but the recent news that Princess Connect! Re:Dive international servers were shutting down and those players were now moving to Blue Archive prompt me to start the thread now.
Anyway, in Blue Archive, you play as the Ambiguous Gendered Sensei, who has been invited to the Academy City of Kivotos, a giant metropolis similar to Tokyo but is set on planet that is not Earth and where everyone has the right to carry guns from handguns to assault rifles, flame throwers, rocket launchers, and even armored vehicles like tanks and helicopters. The city is mostly populated by humans with Halos, which the Halos help protect them from any injury that would be normally fatal to a normal human like gunshots to explosions. The halo humans also have some subraces like Angels, demons, elves, Oni and Kemonomimi. Along with humans, there are also robots with human intelligence and Furry animal people. Due to mysterious circumstances, the previous ruler of Kivotos, the General Student Council President, disappeared without a trace, leaving the city in chaos. But before she disappeared, she gave up all of her authority to the Sensei, thus why the player character was selected. With the help of their A.I. assistant Arona, the Sensei not only tries to bring order to Kivotos but also help the students with their problems as well. Along the way, not only will the Sensei deal with the rivalry between the various school clubs and academies, but also the criminal underworld, a corrupt corporation, a cult and a mysterious organization with their own goals.
As a long time player since the game's release, i enjoyed the game since the game isn't too hard and the story isn't really that long like Arknights. So what about your opinion about this game? Are you excited for the upcoming anime adaptation?
