While I get Krosh betraying, I don't believe that it was the intent from her from the start. She looked like she was genuinely helping, until she probably saw the stones and then saw Jo's forceful leadership.
It might’ve been a recent manga final chapter affecting me, but the funeral fake out with Papa G hit me hard.

The pilot for Kid Cosmic (working title The Kid From Planet Earth), originally pitched to Disney XD, was leaked a couple of days ago.
It is basically episode 1 of the Netflix series with some minor differences (such as Kid being voiced by Nicolas Cantu, the voice of Gumball, and he and Rosa lacking noses).
There is also a montage at the end showing what possible episodes would have looked like had the series been picked up.

The series ended on a really good note & I'm really glad they dedicated an entire episode so the series can have proper closre. I can't think of too many cartoons that have done that & I'm glad to know it's at least ending on the team's terms.
Still, I just hope Kid Cosmic won't be another cartoon people forget. There's been so many good cartoons in the last decade & it feels like no one really knows about them.
