Considering they already used the imaginary girlfriend twist, I'm going to assume that Harley will be "real" in this movie.
Though I imagine they could turn the twist, where Arthur assumes his girlfriend is just a figment of his imagination, but it turns out she's real.

Gotta say, I'm actually cautiously optimistic about this one. I do like the idea of a shitpost-esque (going from the early leaks, anyway) jukebox musical. Plus, I've ridden the ride for this long, why get off now?

Yeah, color me cautiously optimistic.
The original was well-done, if utterly devoid of any originality. This looks like it has some ideas of its own. So maintain the quality acting and direction plus some novelty and we're cookin' with gasoline.
