If it being a musical is true, then we are this close to having a big screen adaptation of It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Superman.

x5 Some have speculated that it's a case of Writer Revolt. That Phillips and co. really didn't want to make another Joker but that the new head of Warner Brothers (or whatever position the guy who just got hired on is) wanted a new Joker movie and so they decided to go full "Mc Fuckit" mode.

...Which I am completely all in favor of.

We're going to get a remake of the song, but all instances of "Poker Face" will be replaced by "Joker Face".

How did everyone ignore the Music Meister's episode from Brave and the Bold?

If that turns out to be true I might actually watch this one.

Honestly, the idea is so weird and unusual I can't help but be all for it.

My favorite joke circulating around is calling the movie "Ha Ha Land."

If I have one objection, it’s that I liked all the Epileptic Trees that the first movie produced, notably with its final scene. A sequel would mean chopping down those trees.

Sorry, wall of text.

I watched the movie recently, and I liked it, but I always had this itching complaint about the movie that I got from watching clips of it that I didn't feel fit to express until I watched the movie in full, and that was Murray's rebuttal to Arthur's rant. He states "Not everybody is awful", and the fact that he stopped talking long enough for Arthur to glare at him and venomously call him awful implies that was his only argument. But even though there are decent people in Gotham, that does nothing to change the fact that the city is controlled by selfish elites who either don't actually give a shit about the people's plights or outright make them worse, leaving the city an oppressive, decaying hellhole, where assholes pick on the decent people, who in turn can't really do much. Plus, as a seemingly decent influential figure, Murray could actually be doing things to make Gotham better. Even though Arthur isn't right in becoming a cold-blooded murderer who kills anyone who he feels slighted him, his points on how horrible Gotham is are still legitimate, and I feel like Murray's response didn't actually fully express that, no, Arthur's view on society's influence on his descent into darkness is evil and wrong. Does anyone else agree or am I just crazy?

Like with the Riddler in The Batman, or Killmonger in Black Panther, despite it being made clear both have become far too monstrous, the underlying societal issues that still created them were eventually also acknowledged by the main heroes and they then work to try to fix those issues as well.

To me, Murray doesn't seems to grasp what kind of situation Arthur when through at all. He introduced Arthur to public just to humiliate him and get more view. He doesn't contribute anything to less fortunate people at all.

Murray isn't like today's late-night hosts who somewhat try to do good in the world with the shit they talk about. He's much more in line with the classic late-night comics who just point, laugh, and snark. Of course he wouldn't be well-equipped to deal with Arthur's poignant call-outs on society.

Joker 2 gets a release date of October 4th, 2024. Exactly 5 years from the original. Get your face paint ready for that day!

If it's an immediate sequel, I'd love for them to make a reference to that.

I love how Joker never said that line, and even the society one he said in this movie is way different.

But then Zack Snyder and Jared Leto had to go and ruin it, missing the entire point of the joke.

They turned it into an actual line said by the joker.

In the second one they’ll say: “It’s societing time.”

I love your Joker face.

Harley and Joker is certainly something I'd call a... Bad Romance😜.

Funny that Joker Blogs had him also singing Lady Gaga in that way.
