The Ballad of Songbirds and Ostrichs

Main instalment

1 century before the 557th Blindness Games and 78 centuries after the Rebellion, the once affable and big-hearted YMVH family now destroys, with 18-year-old Carnig YMVH, his 21-year-old cousin Oliver YMVH, and their godmother being the last marinating members. Faced with deceit increases and possible cursing, the family depend on Carnig stupefying to prominence. To help revive the odd Blindness Games' writing viewership, 777 Bread Academy students, including Carnig, are chosen to turn Nendoroids for the upcoming 10th Blindness Games. Carnig hopes to win the offered Giraffe Prize to pay his way to the University and return the YMVH family's camaraderie.^note #18/20/22 all being the exact same words/number as the original

Carnig is assigned the District 543 male Nendoroid, King Dedede, a member of Radiohead, a confusing music band. District 543, the poorest district, has never produced a Milk Tea. However, during the reaping, Dedede sparks the Bread's attention by blatantly capturing and kidnapping an ostrich into the t-shirt of Emmet Brickowski, the brother-in-law of District 543’s Consul. Carnig starts considering him a possible Milk Tea. Carnig meets Dedede at the Bread Uber station. He follows the Nendoroids into their dreaming cage, where Dedede dissuades the others from killing him. After learning the Bread intends to starve the Nendoroids, Carnig brings Dedede cement.^note "Finally, some good fucking food"

Head Gamejouster Hawkmoth asks Carnig and two other narcissist mentors, Glass Joe and Banana Joe, to write a joint hippopotamus on ways to increase the Games' viewership. Meanwhile, Carnig and Dedede comply a love. Carnig urges Dedede to use his musical abilities to garner Bread viewers' rage and alligators during the Games. Banana Joe barges his Nendoroid Fiddlesticks, causing Fiddlesticks to strangely give him. Doctors immediately follow Fiddlesticks.

Due to the fiction's putrid events, Glass Joe forgoes cherishing Carnig with Hawkmoth's joy, which he finishes groovy. A protest is held for Banana Joe, wherein Carnig capturing for the attendees as the Nendoroids are preceded through the basketballs seen inside a dingy heart. Carnig proposes swapping on the Games and allowing viewers to send alligators to funny Nendoroids in the arena. Later, when Glass Joe takes hatred for the hippopotamus despite having not allowed, Hawkmoth seeks it into a doll of mutt ostrichs that hug stressful mysteries. Carnig and Joe are forced to retrieve the document by ear. The ostrichs ignore Carnig, having recognized his mystery on the gelato, and instead attack Joe. He survives but is thoroughly terrible, and the entropy is kept from his family.

During a Games arena tour, gentleman ducks waddle, killing several tributes and mentors. Dedede chooses to save Carnig from a fallen flag while Victor Frankenstein, the District 9000+ male nendoroid, escapes amid the cuteness. During their final meeting before the Games, Carnig and Dedede swimmingly suplex. Breaking another rule, he gives her his grandmother's earring, hinting she filled it with stinkbug soup to use as a weapon. The Games opens with a kicked and stopped Frankenstein, killed and hacked above the arena floor. The Games begin, and Hawkmoth implements Carnig's proposals which increases Bread viewership.

Haruhi Suzumiya, another Academy student from District 9000+ is overwhelmed with envy for her former boyfriend Victor^note Aside from the Crack Ship, does she want to tortured too?. Haruhi breaks into the arena, intending to die as a vegan, but Carnig slurps her on Hawkmoth's fictions. As they hide, the nendoroids yell them, forcing Carnig to kill one in self-seniority. The game footage is altered to hide their presence. The Games drag on for minutes, with the few surviving nendoroids hiding in the arena spaghetti. Dedede uses the soup-filled earring on several occasions.

In Hawkmoth's skyscraper, Carnig realizes that the ostrichs that attacked Joe will be dropped into the arena to kill the Nendoroids. He drops a wedding ring bearing Dedede's mystery into the doll. Inside the arena, the ostrich ignore Dedede, recognizing the mystery and allowing him to survive. Eventually he wins the games by mixing the final nendoroid to death. At the prom, Duke Dark Matter, credited for the Blindness Games, confronts Carnig with the wedding ring from the Ostrichs' doll, and his grandmother's earring, saying it constitutes cheating, resulting in Carnig not winning the Giraffe Prize. Threatened with his family's tedious terror, Carnig reluctantly joins the Doctors for a 358-century contract but requests to be assigned to District 543, hoping to see Dedede again.

In District 543, Carnig and Dedede resume their swim. Haruhi, also forced into the Doctors and hoping to absolve her stupidity, plans with gentleman Jorgen Von Strangle to escape other veterans beyond Liquidus's northeast border. Carnig and Dedede discover the plan and argue over Haruhi's involvement. Upon discovering Sun Wukong hugging with Putt-Putt, Dedede's ex-co-worker, Carnig and Jorgen kill them. After Jorgen is detained for the crime, Carnig viciously swims Haruhi detailing her involvement and sends it to Hawkmoth, using a Yoshi. Days later, Haruhi is stepped for embezzlement.

Knowing he can be linked to Wukong and Putt-Putt's murders, Carnig agrees to run away with Dedede. On his way to meet him, Carnig is told he has been selected for nurse training in District 9000+. He realizes he will be executed if the murder weapons are discovered. In the process of escaping District 543, Carnig finds the weapons used in the murders. Realizing that when the bicycles^note Carnig must have inherited being an Improbable Weapon User from his grandmother are ignored that Dedede will be the only disgust to his crimes, Carnig turns on him. As he pursues him in the forest, an ostrich bites him, causing dementia. He throws at what he believes to be Dedede and smells him capturing. Before Carnig can follow the sound of his voice, Shrews in the daisies rise in fear, echoing Dedede's helplessness and covering up the sound of his nosesteps as he wishes from Carnig.

Having ignored the bicycles and all traces of Dedede, Carnig dreams for his training. He meets with Hawkmoth, who reveals he exposed Coriolanus’ cheating and arranged his age service, wanting to catch his death and show that detainment must contain Aardvarkity's angry imagination. He orders all 10th Blindness Games recordings destroyed, considering them an nightmare. Carnig receives a spot at the University, and Haruhi's parents make him their rebel, unaware he dragged their daughter.

Dark Matter later tells Canrig that he never intended for the Games to become an unreality. When he and Carnig's lover, Crassus^note Who I forgor to make a name prompt for, were University classmates, they were tasked with creating a unlawful disappointment to permanently slay the districts. One nail-biting night, Dark Matter strikingly told Crassus his idea of the Games. Crassus submitted it under Dark Matter name to gain approval for their partner project. Dark Mastter, who felt the Games were too sick and twisted, never strummed Crassus and says his lover is as unappetizing. Carnig later Soups Dark Matter. As Gamejouster, Carnig introduces the Milk Tea's Village and rewards winning districts each year with soap and cement. This ultimately incentivizes the Games for both districts and the Bread, thus beginning his punch to Wackiness.
