Bubble Bass uses Nostalgia Critic as an iconography base, but he's supposed to be a composite of a lot of 2010s-20s internet Caustic Critics. (Some folks have pointed out the rest of the episode makes references to some of Mr. Enter's own jabs at the franchise).
Bubble Bass is also shown to be an embarrassing otaku, which is decidedly not a trait of Doug or his persona, but perfectly fits some of the insufferable kinds on YouTube.

Looking at episodes like Karate Island, Pressure, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V, Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy, and Squirrel Jelly show Sandy can breathe fine if she only wears the helmet, what's the point of her changing into the space suit when going out of her tree dome?

Rewatching Sleepy Time, why were Gary and Pearl angry at Spongebob in the end? He didn't do anything to ruin their dreams like with Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Sandy, and Plankton (though how they figured it was the real Spongebob and not just a dream version of him is confusing on its own).

Not to mention, there was an animation cel that suggests there was a deleted scene of SpongeBob in Pearl's bed, which would've likely explained Pearl's anger towards him.

I think they were just annoyed that he dismissed their dreams as silly. Dream Gary seemed the type to want his intelligence acknowledged, which Sponge Bob doesn't do, and Pearl's dream was hastily brushed aside for Krabs more manly dream and Dream Pearl looks miffed that he left early/ rejected her fantasy.

Vailskabum thinks the BTR crossover isn’t official because Patchy doesn’t mention SpongeBob. He doesn’ have to and he says it would be disappointing if we don’t hope the crew maintains Hillenburg’s wishes. But on the contrary, regardless of what Hillenburg thought, what’s disappointing is not doing what fans want. Now that Hillenburg’s gone, they can do what they like.
What does not official mean? Do you think they somehow snuck in a spongebob character without Nickelodeon noticing?

Official means that SpongeBob crosses over with something. Patchy doesn’t mention SpongeBob. He acts like a generic pirate. Big Time Rush and Patchy just go on a treasure hunt. But Patchy interacts with the band so I don’t see why that can’t be a crossover.

I’m still trying to figure out the real purpose of the "Sandy's Rocket" episode from season 1. The ending was terrible.
